Wing: I’ve been studying the nursing journals and am thinking a of specializing in cardiac surgery. Or should I stick with general nursing. Become a head nurse, like you. So no real down-time, ma'am.
Miash: Oh that’s wonderful, it’s definitely an attainable goal for anyone who sets their mind to it. (beat) and please, call me Miash, Nurse Miash of course if we’re in sickbay. (beat) But don’t tell the non-medicals, they can still call me ma’am, I like it that way. (beat) You’ll always need to find some downtime, otherwise you’ll just go mad. Do you want to become just a nurse or something more?
Wing: On the off chance I can pass the tests, that is. I also thought of becoming a physicians assistant like you.
Miash: What about becoming a doctor?
Wing: Really? I imagine such things but… I’m not sure.
Miash: Of course, if a short old lady can do it then so can you!
Wing: I read mostly novels about being a doctor or nurse. Mostly the novels are concerning emergency trauma. What do you do for relaxation? I haven’t found much I really like other than medicine and reading about medicine.
Miash could tell the Nurse Aid was nervous, she hadn’t worked with NA Wing yet but heard good things from the other medical staff.
Miash: I find Yoga can be quite relaxing. I’ve even taught a few classes here and there, nothing too formal, but considering setting up regular ones.
Wing: Response
Miash: Of course, why don’t you join me for a class next Monday 25:00 hours. If that’s not too late for you dear? I’ve been taking night holo courses for my medical training and they end around 24:30 so I use Yoga to let my old brain cool off.
Wing: Response
Miash: Never an inconvenience, I welcome anyone to come to the classes. This ship could use a little more centeredness. (beat) ::smiling and laughing a little:: don’t repeat that of course dear.

Miash: Can I get you a refill?
Miash was enjoyed the company of the Nurse Aid, she was impressed by her drive, so much so that her first task tomorrow would be to move her to her own schedule so they could work more together and possibly study together.
