Scritching Haggis behind the ears, Max rasied an eyebrow.

Toz: Speaking junior marines, rumor has it that you got dowsed with a bit of fire foam. ::looking him over:: Any adverse effects?

Maxwell: Aye, that I did. Nothing that a good shower didnae fix.

Toz: Okay, just what happened? If I’m to pass on rumors, I need the know the straight skinny.

Max related the story of his kit locker being booby-trapped with a foam cannister. Looking around, Max leaned in slightlt taking Toz into his confidence about his upcoming – much bigger – return prank. Somehow, Max managed to combine a look of pure innocence with a devilish grin.

It was all planned out. And there would be nothing to prove it was Max.

Maxwell: They're no gonnae know what's hit 'em.

Grinning again, Max managed to suppress the urge to laugh at the mental image of the chaos due to unfold at the briefing.

Maxwell: Oh aye, they're always up tae something. It's like looking after a bunch ae kids at times.

Toz: I also heard you were able to find some Klingon opera. It’s a wonder it didn’t bust your eardrums. I don’t like Klingon opera, you know. 

The grin scaled back to a smile, and Max gave a light nod.

It certainly wasn't on his list of chosen music. But then again, neither was Klingon poetry, and he'd been sent enough of that by Taal. For a moment he wondered exactly what the feared warrioress was up to at present.

Maxwell: I should ae become a teacher.

Toz: Agreed. 

Max: I may no be a Marine forever after all.

Toz: Response

Although to be perfectly honest with himself, should the time arise when he was no longer wearing green Max would undoubtedly try and wriggle his way back into a gold uniform again.

Maxwell: Ach, no. I've nae plans tae leave the now.

There was a whole Quadrants worth of exploration and adventure out there, and Max was determined to see as much of it as humanly possible.

Toz: Response
