Serala had managed to contain her anger by the time she arrived at the office of the Security Director. She was catching snippets of the conversation ahead even before she arrived.
Nidhar: ...us to do another sweep for evidence?
Brex: At Ensign Ganarvuss’s discretion, of course. She’s leading Starfleet’s side of this investigation.

She entered the office and took note of what was going on. First, she noted that Lieutenant Hyden was missing. Then she noticed what looked very much like a forensic crime scene sans forensic specialists.
Serala: Captain Logan, where is Lieutenant Hyden?
Logan: Oh, I see. :: turning to Ganarvuss :: So, Ensign, status report. What do you have?
Ganarvuss: Response
Serala listened intently as she brought Serala up to speed.
Serala: You say you have four suspects? Who are they? We need to handle this carefully so we don’t start an interstellar incident.
Ganarvuss: Response
Again, Serala listened to her report. It was very thorough and Serala secretly admitted to being impressed.
Serala: And what evidence do you have for these suspects?
Ganarvuss / Logan / Lephi / Yalu / Brex / Nidhar: Responses
Serala: Representative, I do think this evidence is substantial and we should question the suspects. However, in the interest of diplomacy, may I suggest you bring them in surreptitiously?
Brex: Response
Serala: Well, looks like you all have things well in hand here. I’ll just go crawl back under the hole I came from and leave you all to it. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you need anything.
