:: Serala had just sent her letters to Atlantis and was now checking her own communications. There was a short letter from Dr. Cattan and she opened it. Sure enough, it was an approval for the marriage along with a congratulations. She decided this one needed a reply, especially since she and the doctor had never really spoken. ::

Dear Doctor Cattan,

It seems so strange that our first communication with each other should be by message since we both work on the same ship. That is something I hope we can rectify once I return.

I wanted to thank you for your approval of the marriage, and for your warm wishes on our wedding. I also wanted to let you know that we are planning to have a second, Earth-styled wedding on Atlantis once I return, and I have asked Captain Brell to conduct the ceremony. It is my intention to invite all senior officers to the wedding, including yourself. I hope to see you there. Until then,
