((OOC: Williams and I were abroad. We didn't announce it since we thought we had Wifi...but in the end we didn't. So we are playing the catch-up-game tonight))

((Poseidon's Lounge, Deck 2, Uss Atlantis, 30 minutes before the meeting in the mess hall))

::Nicky’s voice hurts from all the shouting. It had not been in vain. Quite a big group had gathered around the entrance of Poseidon’s Lounge. This was the big moment. A big, red ribbon hung through the door handle. They would open the lounge in a very traditional way and he would open the ceremony::

Lushington: thank you all for coming, I hope you'll have a pleasant time.

:: Zogi stood beside him and while he welcomed everyone, Ezra, the Bajoran Dabo Girl, appeared looking flawless as always. Nicky winked at her while she walked towards Zogi::

 

Ezra: This is exciting Sir.

 

::Nicky took a step back so Zogi could introduce his new lounge::

Zogi: ::Raising his voice slightly:: My dear friends. It’s an honor to open a bar on a ship like this one. I hope you will all leave your troubles at the door and enjoy yourselves tonight. First drink is on the house. You can help yourself by grapping a glass of Champagne on your way in and a small snack to offer you a small insight of our cuisine.

::The bar was officially open. With the people walking in, Nicky took place behind his new poker table. He was looking forward for a good play. It had been a while. In the end he would have to give a small percentage of the pot to Zogi but most of it would be his. As the dabo wheel started to spin and Ezra was luring in the first people the bar was pretty crowded too. It was looking good for a first day. ::

oO Let’s hope this won’t only last one or two days Oo

((Time skip, half an hour later))

:: Business was calming down rapidly. Nicky was cleaning up his poker table and after that he went down to clean up after the bar. He hoped this was not the indication of running a lounge on such a huge ship::

Zogi : Where is everyone?

Lushington: I don’t know… maybe all in bed for the early shift?

 

Udro: Do you have any Bajoran Springwine.

::Nicky turned around and saw a Bajoran woman standing at the bar. His hands were full with glasses so he nods towards Zogi to take it over.::

 

Zogi: Ah, good to see someone found her way to my establishment. Springwine… Yes I think I have a few bottles. Commander Williams seems to like it every now and then. Tell me…

::Zogi grabbed a glass and started to fill it up::

Udro: I look forward to meeting him.

Zogi: Speaking of Williams… I haven’t seen him at the opening. Must unusual. In fact I haven’t seen any senior officers so far.

Udro: ::she took the flute glass and placed her thumb on the counter mounted scanner to pay for the drink. She took a sip.:: He is probably next door in the mess hall, the new CO Brell is hosting a meet and greet for new officers.

Zogi: The captain is hosting a party and he didn’t host it here?!

Lushington: Well, didn’t expect less of Starfleet.

 

Zogi: I think it’s time we get the people in here then. You still have a few flyers left right?

Lushington: Yes, we do ::he points at a pile of flyers on one of the tables::

 

Udro: The mess hall is just a room with replicators, there is no wait staff or gaming, or cooks making things fresh. It’s no real competition, I wouldn’t worry about it. Besides the Commander is Bolian, his people allow Ferengi gaming commissions to over his world’s casino’s so distrust is not an issue with I’d imagine.

 

Zogi: ::nodding:: Good advice.

 

Udro: As for telling them your open I can that for you now.

 

Zogi: response?

 

Lushington: I assume you’ll put out a good word for us ::he laughs charmingly::

 

Udro: Knowing you have real spring wine in stock, I will have to come here to relax more often. ::leaving her empty glass on the bar she stood and headed out of the doors::

 

Lushington: ::he turns to Zogi:: I’m going to flyer next door. Let’s hope we can lure them in.

 

Zogi: response ?
