M. Captain McKnight: Preparing to prepare

::As Aidoann exited the conference room she turned to McKnight . Standing in the corridor outside the conference room she wanted to get more insight from a member of the team she’d be working with. This would be a first for this particular group since they had just recently come together as a crew. Experience had taught Aidoann one of the best ways to learn the capabilities of her fellow crew members was first hand on the job.::
Danara: I’ll be the first to admit I don’t like going into a potentially dicey situation with just sidearms, but we have our orders.
McKnight: I'll try to bring in some discreet things with us. Perhaps to look like a case or part of our gear that one sees traveling. Give me some time to plan.
Danara: You know as well as I do that any plan we have going in will most likely not survive once we arrive on that station. No matter what we have a clear objective.
McKnight: All the same, we plan for most things. We can't predict the future.
Danara: My priority is to make sure we accomplish that and get back to the ship in one piece.
McKnight: That's both our jobs. So I recommend our uniforms have at least basic energy weapon protection. I'll go brief my Marines and have them standby to save us if things do get hairy.
Danara:
McKnight: Sticking together is important. With all the changes, you're one of the feel left of our old crew still here. I'd hate to lose you in a fight.
Danara:
McKnight: Of course, chief. Who would I have to trade quips with?
::Amuro made his way down to another briefing with his Marines. They were told ahead of time to meet with him as he laid out the plan.::
McKnight: We're a little undermanned, but that's alright. I'd take a dozen Marines over any other force in Starfleet.
::He basically retold what was going to happen and what will be expected if they are called upon.::
McKnight: I want speed and extra aggression since it's my ass you'll be saving this time. ::He heard a few chuckles.:: Everyone load up for a good fight.
Marines: Yes, sir!
