Zogi: Well that looks promising.
:: Zogi pointed at the glass doors with “Poseidon's Lounge” engraved on them and then used his security PADD to enter his codes and open the door. The sound of metal locks shifting was quickly followed by the air compressor that pushed the doors open. Nicky smiled widely. From what he was seeing this lounge was much more exclusive than the Black Hole Bare Zogi once had. As they walked in he was looking at large installed bar and lots of new seats. Even the large Dabo- and roulette table had been delivered already::
Zogi: Well wel… seems that bureaucrat was serious when he said he would see to all our cargo. Looks like we can be open for business as soon as everyone is settled in.
Lushington: ::He turns to Zogi:: Well he better had! That beautiful roulette table over there was expensive. oO especially with what I’m getting paid here… if it would ever get broken… it would take me a lifetime to replace it Oo
Zogi: Rule of acquisition 111. Treat people in your debt like family…
Lushington: ::he grinned:: Well then I suddenly have a lot of family
Zogi: ::He took Nicky’s head and shook it to show his disappointment:: No no… You EXPLOIT them!
:: Nicky laughed sheepishly. He knew that it had been one hell of a debate to get this beautiful lounge. But there was still something missing, but for that he would have to make a deal with the Ferengi next to him::
Lushington: oO I want that poker table, but then we need more staff. I can’t run the pokertable and the roulette at the same time. Or we should use the automatic once. Oo Let's take a look inside. Maybe we have to make some amends.
:: As the two moved in Zogi looked around and was getting more and more impressed. The kitchen seemed to be working, his food supplies had already been delivered, the plates, glasses and the rest of the stuff used to serve the food was already in the shelves, and best of all someone had taken the time to put fresh flowers on most of the tables. Nicky headed towards his roulette table. Everything was clean, there were new cards and in a corner were two new slot machines. He had been asking for them for a long time and there they were.::
Zogi: To be honest I’m not even sure why we can’t open right now…. This place looks ready…
Lushington: I am as ready as can be!
Zogi: Then I guess all we have to do is spread the word. The Black Hole bar is open for business.
Lushington: Sounds good to me Zogs! ::he laughed loud:: let's make it grand!! We're going to have a fun time.
:: Nicky walked through the room once more and walked towards one of the tables. On the chair next to it was some clothing. He picked them up and headed back to Zogi with a big smile on his face
Lushington: Look there is even a new tux! Now I can switch between this and the gray one! ::He handed Zogi his new tuxedo::
Zogi: They come up with uniforms for us? Don’t like it one bit :: uniforms reminded Zogi about the time he was not his own boss. He’d sworn he’d never wear it again unless the price was right:: oO Guess a grand opening as Nickey likes to call it, is a good occasion to wear something fancy. Oo
Lushington: That man that arranged your transfer should get two free drinks. This is more than we ever asked for.
Zogi: oO Idiot… how is he ever going to make money if he gives everything away for free. Oo
Zogi: Fine, but it will be on your paycheck. Now… how shall we get this “ grand opening” of yours organized? We can’t broadcast it over the com.
Lushington: alright... What about posters and flyers?
Zogi: Ancient but effective… A personal approach should work.
:: Zogi pictured them in their new outfit luring people from all over the ship to their new establishment already but first they had to make sure everything was set. Nicky nods and got to it right away::
((Timeskip -one hour later))
:: With their new tuxedos on and a large pile of flyers and posters in their arms, Nicky and Zogi marched through many decks. Whenever they saw a small group of crewman or officers, they raised their voices::
Lushington: Ladies and Gentleman, tonight is the BIG opening from the amazing, new, POSEIDON’S LOUNGE . Run by the one and only, Starfleets fairest Ferengi, .. Zogi :: pointing at Zogi::
Zogi: Fancy a drink after a great adventure on the holodeck? Like to take your special someone out for a nice dinner? The black hole bar is the place to be!
Anyone:?
Lushington: You are all welcome to share a drink ::with a wink:: the first drink is on the house. I am Nicholas Lushington and I'm the Casino Dealer. Play some Dabo, Roulette or take a chance on the slot machines. ::he hands them some flyers:: Enjoy this all with the most delicious food and drink from many different cultures.
