Watching a ship shift out of warp was one of Divya's favorite sights. She could spend hours staring at every shade of blue light dancing around the lighter speed tracks as a ship sped through hyperspace, but there was something special about exiting the protective tunnel into the clear stillness of the black. She made sure she could see the transition whenever possible. Staring out of the windows like a child is where she was when her badge chirped.

Lieutenant Caldwell will be your piilot, and will brief you during preflight, and you should be able to select any equipment you wish to bring from the stores before you launch..=/\

Elation filled Divya's chest at being chosen for an away mission. The conversation in Stellar Cartography had gotten her curiosity for the mission bubbling and she has spent the past few weeks reviewing and discussing the possibilities with anyone willing to chat. Fortunately, the ship was full of explorers, with many willing participants. The other aspect of her excitement came from this being her second away mission. It was a surprising fact after everything she had experienced. Hopefully, this mission would not end in a firefight like her first mission had. She chuckled at the very slim possibility of that and the fact that she would still be armed.
(( Shuttlebay 2, Deck 13, outside runabout Daugava, USS Astraeus ))
Divya had recently reviewed inventory of the Daugava along with other shuttles when it became clear that such a mission was probable. She was familiar with the craft and the kits Beyett had helped put together. It was either excitement or her nerves that led her to pick up extra radiation meds on the way to the Shuttlebay. Those, along with her PADD, an extra comm unit, and a pocket knife helped her feel confident.
Just outside Shuttlebay 2, she saw Harford headed in. Divya gave her a big smile, knowing the Doctor must be even more excited and nervous than she was. Divya practically skipped into the room behind her. Several officers were already there, and Divya fell in line, ready for the briefing.
Caldwell: Ok everyone, we're going to make this as simple as we can. The cloud, which I personally think we might need a better name for so points to anyone that comes up with a winning idea there, is disrupting our sensors, our former rogue planet penetrated the cloud on its way into the inner system, that might give us an option for finding a way through for the Astraeus, we're going to run some close range scans and see if we can't find a way to safely penetrate the cloud. Is everyone ready to go?
Divya quietly laughed, wondering what name they would come up with for an electric purplish-blue gas cloud with a hole in it. She wondered if the cloud was donut-shaped.
Tam: Yes, Sir. I'm ready to tackle the cotton candy field.
Beyett / Harford / Tasen: Response
Alentonis: I'm ready, sir! :: Then he offered a smile to Tasen, and offered a fist-bump :: Nerd's day out! You excited?

Caldwell: Commander Alentonis, Lieutenant Gwen'ora, your role is going to be pretty obvious. Ensign Harford, hopefully we won't find too much for you to do but you might want to stick close to the rest of team blue. Lieutenants Beyett and Tam, we won't be engaging in any firefights but I'll need one of you to cover Ops and the other to cover Engineering and defensive systems.
Divya knew which she would prefer and hoped Beyett would be in agreement.

The small crew filed into the Runabout and settled in while Caldwell and Harford spoke outside. Divya headed to the cockpit.
Tam: ::to Beyett:: I'd be happy to take Engineering and Defensive Systems if you are okay with Ops.

Tam: Sounds good. How are you feeling about your mission since coming back?
