((Main Sickbay, Deck 7 - USS Artemis-A))
With a scanner in one hand and a PADD held aloft in front of his face with the other, Salkath wandered the corridor around the port side of deck 7. The replacement of 3 bioneural packs that were beyond their service parameters had been done successfully, and the Vulcan engineer was content with his foray into the technology unfamiliar with him. He was now tracking down an EPS oscillation, still well within parameters, but a personal annoyance to him, when he became aware of his surroundings.
Deck 7 was the location of Main Sickbay on the Artemis, and Salkath had neglected his responsibility to formally transfer his medical files over as part of his onboarding process. It would be understandable considering the status of the ship upon his arrival and the immediate aftermath - sickbay and the counselor's facilities were purportedly the busiest departments following the machinations of CloQ. Still, Salkath would not and did not excuse his oversight for any reason. Rules are rules, after all, and are so for a reason.
Thankfully he had a PADD at hand, so he could pull up his medical records and present them to the attending physician on duty in Main Sickbay. Salkath did just that, and entered the main doors to the expansive health facility. He stopped just inside the doors, and scanned the room visually for somebody to assist him. There was one individual, behind the glass of the Chief Medical Officer's office, which logic would dictate would be Commander Genkos Adea. The two officers had not met officially yet, but Salkath had done his due diligence of the ship's senior officers before transferring. He approached the open office door.
Salkath: Commander? Or do you prefer Doctor? May I bother you momentarily?
Adea: response
The Vulcan held out his hand. It took him a moment to realize it was the hand with the scanner, and quickly retracted it and offered the hand with the PADD instead. A look of self-annoyance passed his face momentarily.
Salkath: Apologies. I have been multitasking. However, I'd like to formally transfer my medical files aboard as part of my commission to the Artemis.
Adea: response
He stood at parade rest while the commander perused his medical file, cradling the offending scanner out of sight and out of mind. His health was impeccable, always had been, always would be.
Salkath: I trust everything there is in order and up to date?
Adea: response
Up went the eyebrow.
Salkath: Compared to many others, my, ahem, misadventures prior to our arrival in the Bajor system were relatively uneventful. There are no concerns to note about my health since my last medical, physically or mentally.
Adea: response
TAG/TBC (and thanks!)
