(( Elysium Mezzanine, USS Artemis-A ))
Bergmen: Interesting. I’m more of… Risa type of person.
Commander leaned back into the backrest, pointing with his forefinger while his hand was holding a quickly emptying glass.
Adea: Ah, what do you mean about that?
That was a thoughtful question, and Ollie's expression revealed his uncertainty as he struggled to find the right words to convey the deeper meaning and feelings behind their subtext.
Bergmen: Risa is about happiness. Positivity. Calmness of existence, where your life has a meaning.
Adea: So you’re more the fun-loving type, rather than the stoic, curious Vulcans?
Bergmen: Hh-hmm ::tilts head to the side:: Not entirely, but from a certain perspective... ::straightens head:: Yeah, I see why you would put it that way. But the truth is the galaxy is a sad place. We need more happiness and positivity, and provide others the opportunity to see the better tomorrow.
Smiling like sunshine, Ollie picked up a piece of pita bread soaked in his shakshuka. He took a bite, but after one taste, his face changed to sour as he threw bread back into the bowl.
Bergmen: Meh, that pita is feeling all rubbery, and the shakshuka has turned into a gelatinous mess. ::smiles:: See. Sad, sad galaxy is around us.
Adea: Response
Bergmen: ::sighs:: Yeah. Right. When we speak here, now and here... ::grin:: I didn’t want to, but I’ll ask. You are a rank, right? Did you hear anything about what's planned after we restock everything and everyone from the station? Anything about our next mission? I ask because there is quite a lively discussion about where we will go from here on the lower decks.
Adea: Response
