He stood up, letting her join him.
Silveira: I hope you have been settled in good quarters, and that you enjoy your stay.
Syrex: Oh yes, thanks. They’re very comfy. The crew has been very welcoming so far.
They started walking, side by side, Vitor keeping a slow pace.
Silveira: In general we are a very welcoming crew. And we take care of our own, even if they are just visiting. Now I don't have any pictures of… ::he grinned mischievously:: Our model, but we can use any official ones. And it's pretty easy. She's the most beautiful and intelligent on board, although I might be slightly partial. She's my girlfriend and I love her.
She smiled warmly.
Syrex: She sounds very lucky to have you, you’re certainly very affectionate.
Silveira: Thank you, I hope you don't think my request is too… Out of the ordinary, but I like to make these little surprises.
Syrex: It’s totally a good thing! Obviously I’ve not seen the two of you together, but I’m sure you make a cute couple.
Vitor nodded. He also thought that, but his opinion was totally partial.
Silveira: You are very kind. How about you?
Syrex: I’m waiting. Not just because the closest thing I’ve had to any relationship is… well. Actually, I think T’Fearne - my roommate- is the closest person I have to me.
Silveira: Really? You struck me as a very nice person, I am surprised by that.
Syrex: Dating doesn’t bode well for me generally. I have a very small, large fear that they’d just find me irritating and then leave.
Vitor raised an eyebrow.
Silveira: Nonsense. There isn't anything about you that could irritate someone.
They entered the turbolift.

Syrex: Deck 3, Primary Hull
Vitor looked at Rex, tilting his head.
Silveira: Primary hull?
Syrex: Oh, Sorry. It’s a habit I picked up on the Ronin. The upper decks are actually split into two between our saucer section and the catamaran that attached to the nacelles and mission pod.
Vitor laughed and nodded. It was an honest mistake, since the Ronin was an Akira class starship.
Silveira: Oh no worries, I understand the Artemis deck layout might be a challenge for someone used to another class of ships.
Syrex: It is a little. Our bridge is actually on Deck 3, not deck 1. So having my quarters on deck 3 feels… strange.
Silveira: I know, although I never served on any Akira class, I had on several different ships and trust me, it takes time getting used to.
((Corridor, Deck 3, USS Artemis-A))
As they arrived at their destination the turbolift doors opened and they stepped out heading through the corridor.
Syrex: It’s just down here to the right.
Vitor nodded and let Rex lead him.
Silveira: So tell me, how exactly do you do this?
Syrex: Response
Vitor nodded as they stopped by her quarters door.
Silveira: Fascinating.

Vitor took to the side, so that the Doctor stepped inside first, and he joined her once she gestured him in.
Silveira: I have to say you are very talented in toy making. You will forgive me if I don’t need your other skills, as that would mean I am hurt.
Syrex: Response
Vitor smiled and nodded politely to her. In some ways she reminded him of Nan, and like his girlfriend he had a feeling that Doc Rex was much stronger than she realized.
Silveira: Then hands to work, what can I do to help?
