Vitor had set up what he expected was the cutest surprise of all.
He nodded and let Nan bring Little Sil. He was happy that she liked it. It was given just before their date. And he still needed to thank Al from the Helm for that.
He smiled, picked up the doll and then opened the box.
Silveira: I found the creator of Sil Doll and asked for something to match it.
From inside the box he took the little glove that he put on the little Sil’s hand.
He kept smiling at Nan.
Silveira: This is an improvement to make them hold hands.
Then he slowly picked up the Nan Doll, Nan was stunned when she saw it.
Like Doc Rex told him, the little glove snapped with Nan’s hand, and the two dolls were now holding hands. He offered them to Nan who accepted them carefully.
It was so cute he struggled with words…
Silveira: I hope you like… Well… The two of us…
Jovenan: Yes! Oh, look at them, they’re adorable! The little eyes, the smiles, and they’re holding hands!
Vitor smiled, Nan always looked so cute when she was caught by surprise.
Silveira: I admit I was also surprised by that detail. I am glad you liked it.
Jovenan: I love them. Thank you.
Vitor's smile widened as his eyes glowed. Seeing her this happy was the highest moment of his day. No… Week. Actually ever since last shore leave…
Silveira: My pleasure.
Nan played with them, setting them apart and letting them hold hands again.
She was so carefully holding them that Vitor simply hugged Nan, pulling her close to him.
She turned her head to look up to his face.
Jovenan: Will you take the Jovenan doll to your quarters? I’d like it to keep you company, like your doll has been to me. ::pause, looks at the dolls:: Although it would be a shame to separate them.
He smiled and shook his head.
Silveira: I have thought of a solution. Shared custody.
Jovenan: Response
Vitor laughed and gently squeezed her closer to him. Kissing her forehead he tipped his head.
Silveira: For this shore leave and next mission they live in your quarters. At the start of the next shore leave they go to mine. That way we won’t keep them apart. What do you think?
Jovenan: Response
Vitor smiled and looked at them, held on Nan’s hands and at her happy smile.
Silveira: Well, how about we let them stay and go somewhere? I admit I want to hold your hands.
