((Sickbay, USS Artemis-A))
Kel: I didn’t realize we had a specialist just for physiotherapy.
From the way the commander clenched his teeth, Solas knew he’d messed up.
Adea: You should - they’ve been trying to see you for a few days. Dismissed, Ensign.
Eyes wide, heart racing, solas tried desperately to change the subject.
Kel: Doctor I don’t suppose you could give me some low level painkillers? The pain isn’t too unmanageable but it does make falling asleep a little difficult.
The commander nodded and pressed some buttons on his PADD.
Adea: No problem - ask your replicator for Kel Prescription One Oh One before you go to bed, and it’ll provide the pills you need.
Solas relaxed, he’d been a little nervous asking.
Adea: Right, on your way Ensign, and I will see you at the party later.
Right, the party. Captain MacKenzie’s little soiree at Elysium. She’d booked it out all evening for the Awards Ceremony.
Kel: Yes. Thank you sir, I’ll see you there.
The Commander gave Solas a nod as he hopped off the biobed and made his way to his quarters. Once there, he ordered his prescription for the replicator and took the pain medication. Instantly the soreness seemed to fade.
Sending off his memo to Dr. Kafkazet, he decided to take a small nap before the party.
He was supposed to be relaxing after all, right?
