Cmdr. Genkos Adea - Too Quiet...

The trio of command officers sat in the Elysium recounting adventures old and new. Genkos had his arm around Kalianna, and turned to face her as they turned the conversation to being around her new command - one that Genkos was supremely proud of her for.
Adea: Who looks after your sickbay, by the way? Do they need a course in Genkos-i-fying the place?
It felt amazing to hear Kali laugh about it.
Nicholotti: I've got a couple of fresh medical ensigns, but they've really risen to the challenge. If there's a chance in the seven hells that I could steal you for a time though...
The Commodore looked over to Addison with a knowing smirk. Addison shook her head before looking to Genkos, then back at Kalianna again. Genkos tried not to wilt under her gaze.
MacKenzie: Greedy. One Sickbay not enough for him. ::to Kali:: Never satisfied, this one. But, I’ll have to fight you for him…
It was Addison’s turn to smirk.
Nicholotti: Thought that might be the case. Besides, who would watch her back if you're not here? You know how starship holes seem to be attracted to her.
Addison shook her head.
MacKenzie: Dakora isn’t allowed near my Ready Room ever again.
Adea: We’ll add him to the long list of folk banned from your presence… on threat of airlock. ::he winked at Kalianna:: What is it about her and annoying officers?
Kalianna laughed again, and Genkos beamed - it was supremely satisfying to know she was happy and they were together.
Nicholotti: Maybe it's the red hair.
MacKenzie: I’d like to think it’s earned me a reputation. That, and the growing reputation for airlocking people who cause trouble.
Adea: Honestly, you airlock one Ensign and everyone thinks it’s a pattern.
Addison smirked, clearly thinking that the recent(ish) airlocking accident had done wonders for her reputation in that regard.
Nicholotti: Any idea what command will have you guys doing after this?
Addison shook her head disconcertingly, and Genkos winced.
MacKenzie: Things have been quiet in the Borderlands… And you know what that means…
Adea: Shit’s about to go down. Pardon my Betazoid.
Nicholotti: Response
It was never a good sign when the powers in the Borderlands seemed to be in balance - although they had just disrupted a Suliban plot, that wasn’t to say that they’ll be quiet for the foreseeable.
MacKenzie: I suppose we’ll wait to see what the universe throws at us. Personally, I wouldn’t mind a quiet survey mission…
Genkos raised an eyebrow.
Adea: Like the one some of our staff have gone missing on? ::pause:: They’ll turn up, I’m sure.
Nicholotti: Response
MacKenzie: What about for the Eagle? Any idea what’s next?
Genkos turned back to Kalianna, giving her shoulders a little squeeze.
Adea: If you can share it, of course.
Nicholotti/MacKenzie: Response
Adea: Is it me, or is it worse when it’s quiet - makes you wonder what they’re all planning ::he gestured around:: out there.
