((XO’s Office - Deck 02 - USS Artemis))
Talos’ boring day of PADDwork had been interrupted by a blast from his not-so-distant past. Sam Richards had arrived and with had come all the associated memories of their memorable night out after Frontier Day.
Now, standing in dangerously close proximity to her, locked in a partial embrace, his mind wandered to the increasingly flirtatious messages they'd been exchanging since that day.
S. Richards: And if I have my way, we can use the guest quarters to explore a few things from those messages. ::pursing her lips to the side:: I may have brought a couple of those outfits to show you in person ::whispering as her face inched towards his:: remember the red one?
To his credit, he only considered clearing his entire desktop off in one smooth motion for a fleeting moment, before his rational mind took hold.
He could feel the heat in his blushing face as he replied.
Dakora: Right, Ahem. Then that’s work done for the day for me. ::He gestured toward the door.:: Right this way and we’ll get you situated in your guest quarters, then we’ll see what’s next.
S. Richards: ::Nodding:: Sounds like a plan.
Dakora: Follow m–
He’d taken about a half-step toward the door, when Sam grabbed his arm and he allowed her to pull him into a rather fiery kiss. After what felt like simultaneously a long time, AND nowhere near long enough, they separated.
S. Richards: What do you say we continue this elsewhere, ::glancing at the door:: we don’t want to chance an interruption here.
Talos nodded slowly.
Dakora: Yeah, I think that would be a good idea…
He wasn't exactly the type to be easily flustered, but here he was, caught off guard by someone who wasn't afraid to step right up and take charge of the situation.
Smiling to himself Talos shook his head and laughed.
S. Richards: Lead the way, but maybe wipe that look off your face ::giggling:: It’s very revealing and I don’t think you want to have to explain why you look so excited to hang out with the new visitor.
He'd nearly made it to the door, when he turned back to face Samantha, his eyes going a little wide.
Dakora: Yeah? And whose fault is that!?
Her laugh and the smile she shot back filled him with a warmth that seemed to radiate from somewhere deep in his chest.
One thing was certain; this shore leave was about to get interesting.
End scene for Talos!
