It had come as a complete surprise. It’s been years since he last saw that name.
And now it was there, in front of him.
Not exactly now. Now he was at DS224 docking area looking around, searching for her.
To think she was one of the new arrivals on the Artemis. And would be working under him.
That was part of the surprise. He wouldn’t expect to have Alex as one of his minions.
Even after all the years. How long has it been since they last saw each other?
He was still on the Excalibur. In the first time on the Excalibur.
It was a lifetime… No it literally felt like several lifetimes ago.
Vitor frowned when he seemed to recognize her. He speeded up his pace and waved his hand trying to get her attention.
Silveira: ALEX
That apparently got her attention, but he walked faster still waving.
Silveira: ALEX… HERE…
He smiled as he got close. She looked almost the same. And for a moment he forgot how things had ended when they last spoke. He opened his arms, but resisted the urge to offer a hug.
Instead waiting to see if she hugged him.
Silveira: I saw your name on the roster and had to welcome you. It's good to see you. You look just the same.
Storm: Response
He smiled and reciprocated her gesture. Shrugging he took a step back.
Silveira: You're too kind. I had a run in with a Q, and he thought it would be nice to punish me, and deage me, so I could relieve an old trauma. ::He winked:: The brighter side I get to look almost seven years younger. You're ordered to report to Captain MacKenzie right?
Storm: Response
Vitor smiled and grinned as he pointed to the Artemis.
Silveira: I also serve on the Artemis. In fact… I am your Chief.
