Vitor raised an eyebrow. Workshop? Replicator? Well, the replicator wasn’t exactly a problem, as for the workshop…
Did the Doc just said she carried it with her?

Silveira: OK, and where do you think it's possible to work?

Syrex: Well, it’ll be tricky to do that in here? Do you wanna take our drinks up to my quarters and we can work in there? Can you take drinks away from here? I gotta drink coming, so we can finish them both first if you like?

Vitor nodded. He opened his arms and waved them relaxingly.

Silveira: Well I am not in much of a particular hurry, lets enjoy our drinks first, besides… ::he winked and leaned forward, reaching for his glass.:: I have a few requests to add.

Syrex: What kind of request? Nothing too dodgy, I hope?

Vitor laughed and leaned back and shook his free hand, as he balanced the drink in the other.

Silveira: No, no, nothing like that. Just a big hug and a message that I miss them, and one day I hope to visit and catch up with them. You have some of my old friends in the Ronin.

Syrex: Aw that’s sweet of you to think of them. I miss them too. When I get back I’ll make it a point to deliver your messages!

Waiter: Here you go Ma’am

The waiter set down Alyndra's request.

Syrex: Oh, thank you! ::turns back to Sil, taking a sip of her drink:: Who’s in your thoughts?

Silveira: First is the Captain. Niac and I served on the Excalibur together. The other is Ana, Luxa Lorana, she served here in the Artemis. I miss them dearly.

Syrex: Ana? I’m assuming that’s a nickname right?

Vitor shrugged. It was more of a habit he had developed.

Silveira: It’s a way I like to call my friends. A little silly shortening of their own names. But tell me, you have more toys?

Syrex: Oh well, you know I have all of my toys on a card in my quarters? I can set you up with a figurine of her? A doll of Captain Niac too.

Vitor laughed. He wondered what a “Spots” Niac doll would look like.
Glorious for sure, considering his awesome beard.

Silveira: You had my curiosity, now you have my attention. How did you come up with that idea?

Syrex: It’s funny you ask. I’m a paediatrician by training; the comfort of my patients is at the forefront of my mind when I’m treating someone. Children like toys, play takes you away from a world that’s often so scary, especially to someone so young. I see myself as a facilitator of play. Modelling the real world so that they can work through their trauma and perhaps distract themselves for a bit.

Vitor nodded. It made sense and showed the caring nature of Doc Syrex.

Silveira: Interesting, do you also have Counselling training?

Syrex: No, I’m no counsellor. Dekas and Herbert are way better than I could ever be! But when people have confided in me.. I… I hope the toys have been useful. I really do.

Her tone shifted. Vitor felt it turned more serious.

Silveira: Dekas? Well then that's another one you have to send my regards. We served on the Juneau together. But I have to commend your efforts. I am sure the grown ups also appreciate your toys. And find them useful. By the way if you need Counselling we are also well staffed in that field.

Syrex: Response

Vitor smiled and leaned forward. Being himself he couldn't help notice something was wrong.

Silveira: Trust me, I had that bad habit of avoiding counseling myself. ::he raised his hands apologetically:: Forgive me but I sense there's a lingering issue that's still bothering you.

Syrex: Response

Vitor tipped his head, offering her a comforting smile.

Silveira: I have been around the Fleet for long enough to catch on things. We can talk about it, or not. Whatever makes you comfortable Doc Rex.

Syrex: Response
