((The Old Inn, Canterbury, UK, Earth))

Genkos sat in the quaint little pub, which featured effectively one long narrow room with a bar at the very front, and extending all the way back. He had picked it effectively at random from the ship’s database - it had been called the New Inn for generations until they decided it was no longer “new”.

That seemed appropriate - a vintage jukebox sat in one corner and seemed to work, although the surly barman growled at anyone who approached it - possibly because it was filled with records of some band called the “BeeGees” - Genkos had glimpsed that one of their tracks was entitled “Stayin’ Alive” which seemed ironic to him - megahits or not, they were almost certainly dead by now.

The door opened, and his invited guest arrived. The man seemed weighed down by their recent experience with the Borg, but as soon as he saw Genkos, Vitor’s normal chirpy lightness came back to his face.

Adea: Vitor! Please, sit.

Silveira: Response

Genkos pushed out the seat opposite with his cane, whilst pushing a large pint of a faintly pink liquid towards him. There were two of them in front of Genkos and he had no intention of drinking them both… at least not at the same time.

Adea: Here, try this. It’s called a strawberry sour beer, and I have to say, it’s definitely sour, I don’t know what a strawberry is, and the alcohol content is dubious.

Silveira: Response

Commander Genkos Adea MD

Chief Medical Officer

USS Artemis-A

G239502GS0

"You know, I'm really easy to get along with most of the time, but I don't like bullies and I don't like threats, and I don't like you, Culluh. You can try and stop us from getting to the truth but I promise you that if you do I will respond with all the 'unique technologies' at my command." - Kathryn Janeway
