Seeing him again gave her a rush of emotions she hadn’t expected, but she held her smile.
S. Richards: ::Lightly clearing her throat:: Did you miss me?
Dakora: I did– I do! ::He gesticulated in her general direction:: but… uh, aren’t you a little far from home?
She stepped closer to his desk, still trying to gauge how he felt about her sudden presence, but based on his smile he seemed okay with it.
S. Richards: ::Talking quickly:: I’m sorry to just drop in on you like this. I-I wasn’t sure if you’d even want to see me again, or if I should have told you I was coming. ::her hands flailed around in wild gestures:: I knew I needed to come back here and talk to some of the crew about Frontier Day and- and I wanted to let you know I was here and… ::taking a quick breath:: I’m sorry…
Talos made his way to her on the other side of the desk and pulled her in for a hug. She reveled in the closeness, feeling that same excitement she had the night they met.
Dakora: Well, whatever the reason, I’m glad to see you! ::He gestured at the PADDs:: Gives me a good reason to put off my boring Paddwork for a bit.
S. Richards: ::Teasing:: It’s nice to be distracting in person for a change.
She smiled as he released her from his grip, knowing there was no need to elaborate further on how he had been distracted by her recently.
Dakora: How long are you here for? ::He smirked.:: We’re on leave at the moment and I’m sure we can find all kinds of trouble to get into on ‘224.
S. Richards: Well, my plan was to enjoy leave with you- I mean all of you. ::Blushing at her blunder:: Sorry, I uh, I did mean everyone, not just you. I wanted to see all the people… But also you- definitely you.
She could feel her face getting redder the more she talked. She took a deep breath and poked him in the chest.
S. Richards: Even the mention of getting into trouble with you gets me all kinds of frazzled. ::Trying to not show her amusement.:: That being said, I do have a couple crazy things in mind…
Dakora: Though… maybe not as crazy as last time… I don’t think there are any cliffs. Or racoons.
S. Richards: ::Smirking:: Based on some of the messages we’ve sent I don’t think you and I will have a hard time making crazy happen that doesn’t involve cliffs and racoons.
For a moment she worried she was being too forward, but that worry faded as quickly as it came.
Dakora: Response
S. Richards: So… Do you have anything else going on today aside from all that boring work?
Gently, she placed her hands on his chest and stared into his dark eyes.
Dakora: Response
S. Richards: I was hoping that maybe there was some cute, capable XO to help show me where my guest quarters are. ::Placing a quick kiss on his cheek:: Please?
