Vitor tipped his head sideways as he sang for the tenth time straight… And kept “correcting” it, as the melody and the familiar voice played.
Silveira: I'm flying home for New Year
Oh, I can't wait to be there
I'm flying home for New Year
Well, I'm going to find the ship…
He leaned forward, checking the course. It had been a few hectic weeks. And admittedly he still felt Tito was a bit sore with him. All things considered he did had a point, but as always Vitor couldn’t let him go on his own.
Silveira: And it's been so long
But I will be there
I sing this song
To pass the time away…
It didn’t unfold as expected, unfortunately Tito’s Aunt had passed away a few years ago, but at least he managed to bring her back to Earth, and rested her with the rest of the family.
Tito looked at ease and at peace, one less concern for Vitor.
He let a few of the verses pass, as he pondered on how things had been during his absence.
He hoped Nan received the messages he sent. He looked to the empty seat by his side and smiled at the wrapped Christmas Gift.
With some luck he might have made it on time to start 2403 with a bang. And home.
