Captain MacKenzie and Co. had the usual task of balancing hats as both diplomats and investigators. Her team was charged with meeting First Secretary of Industry Jetripar at Aflaqi Launch Control to learn more about the project, investigate the launch site, and gather information about what might have taken place. When the team materialized at the specified coordinates, she was surprised by the fact that the command center for the project was largely deserted. She wondered if the ministry might have suspended many of the engineers and scientists on the project until an investigation was conducted. 

Ready and waiting for them, the captain recognized Secretary Jetripar from the government files. He wasn't a member of the provisional government the last time MacKenzie had been in contact with the Da'al, but the secretary's unmistakable blue-grey hair and blue-green eyes were both striking and made him immediately recognizable.

MacKenzie: Secretary Jetripar, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Captain MacKenzie. Allow me to present my officers: Commanders K'Wara and Silveira, and Ensign Breys.

K'Wara/Silveira/Breys: Response

With her best diplomatic face on, MacKenzie offered a smile and bowed slightly.

MacKenzie: We're glad to be back on Meranuge - the last time we were here it was a... trying time. Commander. Silveira and I were both here during the recovery effort...

K'Wara/Silveira/Breys: Response

MacKenzie nodded.

MacKenzie: We're happy to lend a hand. Maybe you could start by showing us around your facility here - walk us through what happened... We'll see what we can uncover. I'm sure my officers will no doubt have questions.
