Genkos was carrying out a series of routine medical tests on a revolving door of patients, effectively carrying out the bread and butter of a doctor’s job. It was almost calming, knowing that he was helping all those officers maintain peak physical health. So it was with a slight expression of pleasure that he noticed his next patient had entered. She was a Bajoran and he gestured warmly to the biobed at his side. 

Vailani: Hello … Commander … Doctor. 

His eyes flicked to her pips, then to her face, which seemed vaguely familiar.

Adea: Greetings, Lieutenant.

Vailani: I'm scheduled for my onboarding medical assessment. 

Zoyara revealed a PADD and passed it to the Betazoid doctor. He looked over it for a moment and saw that she had served on the Artemis before… a few years back.

Adea: Right you are, ::nodding to the biobed:: up you get.

Vailani: That's all my notes from Doctor Beck on the Ronin. 

Genkos nodded and transferred the notes to his internal servers. He unclipped the tricorder from his belt, and began to scan her with the doohickey from the top.

Adea: Thank you. Can I ask - any issues I should know about? It’s nice to hear them in your own words…

Vailani: Response

Genkos could sense a slight wave of unease coming off the woman, and seeing as she’d served on the Artemis before… He decided to risk it and ask.

Adea: I’m sorry, Lieutenant, have we met before?

Vailani: Response
