Dragged into a Starflirt gathering Vitor ended up talking with Tamio K’wara, their Ops Chief.
He had meant to greet them, not wanting to make the same mistake he had done with Gnai, whom he only talked to when they got promoted.
Although Tamio’s fashion sense was remarkable Vitor did correct them regarding the color he was wearing. Then again Teal was just another Blue.
Vitor nodded and leaned back. It was rather interesting. For him it was simply a joke. And considering he had set up a fake profile for someone else, a very bad taste joke.
Silveira: Believe it or not it was a mistake… Well it started as a joke, when I set up my profile, but honestly it turned out to be a mistake. ::he tipped his head sideways:: Admittedly done worse because I haven’t updated it. I think that in my profile I am still serving on the Excalibur…
K’Wara: ::quiet whistle:: That’s a while ago. Well, fret not; I’ll let you wine and dine me with zero strings attached, and then you can get that mistake all fixed up once Nadevia releases you from your bonds.
Vitor opened his mouth and raised his finger leaning forward. He wrinkled his forehead and leaned back, eyeing Tamio a little suspiciously.
Silveira: That's… Quite generous of you…
K’Wara: ::nods sagely:: I’m a generous person, this much is true. ::smirks:: Though I would be remiss to not mention the fact that I no doubt owe your girlfriend my life three times over, so it's in my best interest to behave.
Vitor nodded, and he couldn’t help but feel a little proud about the way Tamio mentioned Nan.
Silveira: Have the two of you met before this mission?
K’Wara: I did, actually. She was kind enough to make me do 20 Questions with her while also giving me a sensor analysis exam in the sensor pod. ::wry smirk:: Felt like being back at the PHYS101 exam at the Academy.
Vitor smiled and nodded. He always knew Nan would become a good officer. He recalled when he pranked her over it.
Silveira: Really? We have worked together, so I know she is a great officer. And I knew that even before we started dating. ::Vitor leaned back and smiled as he let his memory return to their very first mission on the Artemis.:: I had seen her take charge, even when she was just an Ensign and me and Commander Adea were… Injured and she was proactive and kept together and… ::Vitor began to feel his cheeks getting warmer and leaned forward raising his hands:: Forgive me but digress…

Vitor shrugged now fully blushing for certain. It was always easy for him to talk, as the saying goes, his life was an open book. And if he started blabbing about something he loved Vitor could go on for hours.
It was as natural to him as his procrastination when it came to keeping things updated, other than work.
Silveira: It’s something that happened slowly but naturally. I think all the things we shared brought us together and… It’s amazing…. ::Vitor opened his arms:: As silly as it sounds.
But enough about me and Nan. Tell me more about yourself. Where did you serve? When did you join?
