Genkos grinned, and put a cheerful hand on the man’s shoulder. He was pleased to hear that Vitor and Jovenan were not only just a couple, but were getting on famously. What could he say, Genkos loved love.

Adea: I’m glad to see that you’re happy. What else could be better?

Vitor shrugged.

Silveira: Right now not much. And how about you? How are you doing? I read the report on your encounter…

Genkos shrugged - he was… coping. That was probably the best description of his mental state. He wasn’t miserable, he wasn’t happy, he was just… getting by. And considering what he’d just witnessed, he couldn’t blame himself. 

Adea: I’m… I’m good, thank you Vitor.

Vitor arched an eyebrow, clearly seeing right through the Betazoid’s cover.

Silveira: You're usually checking up on me and I just thought to reciprocate a little.  

Adea: I appreciate that Vitor, I do…

He trailed off, and Vitor shrugged and tipped his head.

Silveira: What can I say, I am just that kind of guy. You can ask Kali, I usually self proclaimed myself as the Moral Officer. And not on the dirty sense…

Genkos let out a soft little laugh. He guessed, if anyone could empathise with how he was feeling, it was Vitor. Genkos may have been the Commanding Officer in charge of the Resolution when it went down, but Vitor had been right there, at his side, when the Genesis Device had activated. Some might even say it had been Vitor’s actions that caused the situation, but Genkos had long ago forgiven him.

Adea: I see that… Well, if you must know, I am… coping. Each day is a little less depressing than the last, and putting a bit of time and distance between myself and the Resolution, well, it can only help… Well, that and seeing Kalianna every morning.

Silveira: Response

Adea: And I do mean that in the dirty sense.
