((ROOM 05-0799 – DECK 5, USS ARTEMIS-A))
Natasha sat down cross-legged and took a deep inhale of the delicious dessert before her. This was by far her favorite treat.
Cole: ::taking a bite:: Go ahead, try it. ::with food in her mouth:: I made yours with Blueberries.
She watched as Tho”Bi mirrored her own actions, until he attempted to inhale a small mound of whipped cream through his nose.
Tho'Bi: ::alarmed:: Ah! It is like snow but sticky and sweet!
Natasha covered her mouth and ‘tried’ to stifle a laugh, but wasn’t successful as Tho’Bi full on panicked and flailed with a face covered in whipped cream.
Tho'Bi: ::pointing wildly at Tricorder:: modulate the sticky snow!
Cole: ::grabbing at the Tricorder:: It’s ok, just blow the air out of your nose, while I do this. ::pressing buttons::
Tho’Bi was now an amusing sight, nose dripping with whipped cream with some mucus. She pressed her lips together trying harder to not laugh at the Andorians comedic suffering.
Tho'Bi: ::deep breath of relief:: thank you.
Cole: ::nodding:: Your welcome.
Tho'Bi: ::matter of fact:: I will now try the paste-ee.
The two sat in silence as they enjoyed Aunt Rea’s pastries. She noticed Tho’Bi appeared to clean his plate, so he must have liked it. Though she did make a mental note to skip the whipped cream for him next time, maybe ice cream would be better for him.
Tho'Bi: Delicious. ::bows:: honour to your Aunt Rea.
Cole: ::smiling:: Thank you, I will pass your compliments on next time I see her.
Cole: ::picking up the power cell:: Sounds like I’ll have to source a replacement, or try and restore power to this. ::spinning the power cell in her fingers::
Tho’Bi bound across the rook to his storage locker and withdrew a Universal Power Supply.
Tho'Bi: Now the ice has melted, we can safely charge the power cell.
With two quick clicks the cable was connected between the power cell and the united power supply. Tho’Bi started working on its controls.
Tho'Bi: ::still working controls:: The mistake people make is charging the cell too quickly. ::taps initiate key:: it'll take a day or two ::shrugs:: but it'll charge.
Cole: There’s no real rush on this ::looking at the old communicator:: It’s not like anyone would answer it if we got it working anyway.
Tho'Bi: No, I suppose not.
Cole: Thank you for your help with this. I appreciate it.
Tho’Bi stretched his long frame as he stood. to his feet. He started to pack up his engineering kit, leaving the Universal Power Supply to slowly charge the power cell.
Tho'Bi: I have an EVA shift soon ::rubs eyes:: Shield emitters need changing out. I better sleep.
Cole: ::nodding:: Sounds like you’ll need your full focus for that.
Tho”bi turned towards his sleeping quarters, only to pause for a moment.
Tho'Bi: Thank you again for the Paste-ee ::bows::
After his snoot fulla sweet accident, she didn’t have the heart to correct him. That was an image that will amuse her for the foreseeable future though and that made her smile.
Cole: You are welcome.
She turned to look at the slight glow of the power cell being charged. As she did she wondered if it would be inappropriate for her to call him Mister Meringue or Mist Chief, those might be too on the nose.
Cole: Computer, resume personal message.
