(( In Space - Laoi System, Minos Korva Sector, Alpha Quadrant ))
They were now working and getting the first readings. Perfect time for a little hazing.
He nodded and kept his eyes on the helm.
Silveira: Roger that. ::He grinned as he turned to Sada, Gnai and Morgan.:: Captain Sadar, what’s the next action?
The change in Sada's voice and her sudden reply meant he really had struck a nerve.
More likely her whole nervous system.
Sadar: Sil-net!
Gnai/Morgan: Response
Vitor tipped is head and turned back to the viewscreen and helm.
Silveira: Well, to all intents and purposes you are leading the mission, Captain Sadar.
Sadar: I, bu- Tha- That’s not-!
Vitor smiled, raising his hands apologetically.
Silveira: Sorry my dear friend, but I couldn’t resist. But truly you're coordinating our work, so to me you're in charge.
Gnai/Morgan: Response
Vailani/Imril: Response
Sadar: Just, let’s get on with the testing.
Vitor smiled and returned his full attention to piloting. It was his best contribution, or so he considered, and truthfully all had gone uneventfully so far.
The Galaktoboureko was easy to fly, although personally he would prefer they used a Runabout. But the Type 11 was also well suited, and smooth to fly.
Vitor followed the plotted course around the star and they were now on their origin point.
Silveira: Orbit complete.
Gnai/Morgan: Response
Vailani/Imril: Response
Sadar: Excellent. Now, set a course for-
Vitor raised an eyebrow as Zoy console signalled something.
Vailani: Response
Sadar: Oh, uhh... P-Patch it through? ::brief pause:: =/\= This is the USS Galaktoboureko. How can we help you, Administrator? =/\=
Bim Pend: =/\= About bloody time you Starfleet types got here. It’s typical - can’t be bothered to show up to fix our stuff, but as soon as we start getting things done ourselves, you fly on by, all willy-nilly! =/\=
Sadar: =/\= I... I-I’m sorry? =/\=
Bim Pend: =/\= I don’t need none of your fogey apologies, I need you to get planetside pronto and help us deal with this damnable wreck that’s frying our computers worse than a bad Sunday roast! =/\=
Vitor turned to the others. So it wasn’t just in proper missions that they could have their work derailed. He saw Sada looking at them with a confused expression. Whispering so that the Administrador Vitor looked between all the others. They weren’t exactly a rescue team, but they covered most of the duty posts, Ops, Medical, Engineering, Science. They should
Silveira: I think we should help.
Gnai/Morgan: Response
Vailani/Imril: Response
Sadar/Bim Pend: Response
Vitor turned and tapped in the controls stabilizing the shuttle.
Silveira: We need more information.:: Vitor tapped a few controls and spoke loudly so that he could be heard over the comline:: =/\= Administrator Bim Pend, this is Lieutenant Silveira can you give us more details please. Is it safe to land? Do you have a place that need’s us more urgently?
Bim Pend: =/\= Response
Gnai/Morgan: Response
Vailani/Imril: Response
Sadar: Response
Having taken the first question Vitor set up the shuttle to the new course. He frowned, he wasn’t used to atmospheric flight, and he never landed with such a shuttle before.
Sadar: Response
Bim Pend: =/\= Response
Gnai/Morgan: Response
Vailani/Imril: Response
Vitor turned to Sada, giving her a reassuring nod. He looked at Morgan, Zoy, Imril and Gnai, offering a smile and another nod.
Silveira: You all know my vote, I think we should help. And obviously send a message to any other ship around.
Sadar: Response
Bim Pend: =/\= Response
Gnai/Morgan: Response
Vailani/Imril: Response
