Spending time on a starship was a vast difference from a station, but she was enjoying the little quirks and much smaller population of the Artemis. It was more common to run into someone she knew when there was a huge civilian contingent to contend with. She loved Amity, but there was something charming about the Artemis.
Sam smirked to herself and she wandered the corridor. Perhaps it was more so the people on the ship that she found charming rather than the ship itself.
She was trying to decide what to do when she heard someone calling out to her.
Silveira: SAM
S. Richards: Huh?
She turned around, looking to see whoever it was that sounded so excited to see her and it only took a second until before she realized who the yelling was coming from.
Silveira: SAM RICHARDS! REALLY?
While she had been meaning to seek him out and make him follow up on his promise to cook for her, it was a welcome surprise to bump into him. Sil wrapped Sam in a big hug that she happily reciprocated.
Silveira: It’s so good to see you, give me a hug you Seamstress Empress.
S. Richards: Vitor! I’m so happy to see you!
Silveira: How are you doing? And how did you end up here?
His friendly smile was still as welcoming and warm as the first time she met him.
S. Richards: I’m doing good ::smiling:: I’m here because someone promised to cook for me.
Silveira: Response
Sam nudged him with her elbow and chuckled.
S. Richards: I mean, I do have a list of people here to see. You are just lucky enough to be one of those people.
Silveira: Response
S. Richards: Besides you? Well, I’m hoping to spend some time with Gila, Jovenan, Gnai ::shifting her gaze away and smiling:: and Talos…
Why did she have to be so awkward just saying his name? She was sure the XO didn’t particularly want the whole ship to know about their… dynamic they had going on.
