It hadn't taken long for Ava to fall in love with the Luna-class ship. She had spent much of the first weeks wandering through the decks, climbing in Jefferies tubes, and exploring. It was on one of these walks she found herself in the Science Centre’s geology lab. Various officers, in their blue uniforms, idled on projects quietly reviewing scans and specimens.
They weren't the only ones present. There was another woman, in a black t-shirt, and a very pregnant belly - or so she assumed. On the front of the t-shirt in bold red lettering was the word ARTEMIS.
She had remembered seeing a pregnant civilian scientist onboard, under the purview of the science team.
Munro: Where do I get one of those t-shirts?
Richards: Response
Munro: :: extends a hand :: Ava Munro, the new XO. I'm sorry we haven't had a chance to meet until now.
Richards: Response
Ava looked at the experiment running behind Richards.
Munro: I hope I'm not disturbing your experiment?
