oO Did I just get patted on the head? That's a first. Oo
Jaran: Wow, I thought I'd broken that habit. I am so sorry. Would it help to know your pagh is strong?
Roy's moustache quirked into a position that suggested a confused smile was under it.
Bancroft: I… appreciate that. I think. Is that like good cholesterol, or is it more of a vibes-based thing?
Jaran: Think of your pagh like your life force. How You you are. If it's strong, well, you're very you. And you're a very you-y you.
Roy really did smile at that one. Jira thought he looked pleased, too.
Bancroft: Ah, that makes… so much more sense. Sorry about the head thing, by the way. I feel like that’s something you don’t do to a person mid-soul-reading. In my defense, I’ve never been spiritually complimented before and I panicked.
Jaran: Apology accepted. At least you're doing better than the six year old who threw up on me when I did it once.
Jira wondered where Bel was these days. He was probably old enough to be helping on the farm by now. Maybe one day they'd swing by that shrine again. It was a lovely area, and the people were very devout.
Jaran: Anyway. How much longer do you have to put up with me here, do you think? I'm sure you're excited for your new room assignment.
Bancroft: Response
Jaran: Sure, sure. ::winking:: Run off and leave me alone, I guess. You'll be back when you miss the incense.
Jira didn't know if that was true or not. But it was common enough that they'd probably be willing to place a bet on it.
Bancroft: Response
