((Security Training Facilities - Security Centre - USS Artemis-A))
After a brief moment of quiet, remembering the events around their last away mission.
Cole: Let me know what you need to feel squared away here, sir. We’re good at locking doors and creatively opening them when we have to.
Munro: That's some useful knowledge and I have no doubt I'll require those door skills at some point. Before that I might need something else from –
With the Ping of her simulation having finished, she glanced at the display.
Munro: I've interrupted your work?
Cole: Oh that I was just running a simulation of our recent encounter with the Orion Syndicate. We had been boarded, fortunately we managed to contain them, but I wanted to see what could be done to improve our response time.
Ava nodded in appreciation, impressed with Cole’s desire to improve on an important aspect of security. One of the worst things that could happen to a ship is to be boarded and after reading the logs, she realised that the Artemis was no stranger to that.
Munro: Good work. I'd be interested in seeing those results when you're finished.
Cole: Would you care for a guided tour of the security suite, Commander?
She offered the Commander a warm smile. Picking up her PADD to review.
Munro: Beats me just idling around and getting in the way and you can tell me more about the simulation. Don't mind Suzie, she'll follow along. I carry treats in my pocket and she knows it.
Natasha watched as Suzie lifted a paw towards Commander Munro, as if asking for one after hearing it mentioned.
Cole: I see she’s food motivated, like most of us. ::letting out a laugh::
Munro: Lead the way, Ensign. While you're doing that, why don't you tell me more about you? If I remember your personnel file you graduated from the academy recently?
Cole: Absolutely, Commander. ::gesturing back behind her:: You’ve already seen the Chief of Security, Duty Officer offices and the Aide's station. Yes, I graduated while Artemis was dispatched to Galaris IV, and met up with her just as the first away team went planet side.
Munro: I had several weeks on a transport ship. I think I may have read the crew files several times just for something to do. It was either that or get blind drunk.
Cole: Probably a more responsible use of time, pesky responsibilities.
She hesitated, weighing how much to share. Personal touches could build rapport, or overstep. It was hard to know how far down that turbolift the Commander was ready to go.
Cole: As for me, while my resume is fairly short, I know that I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I’ll make sure the people under my watch get through the day regardless of the cost.
Munro: Response
Turning out of the training room, she stopped by the Master-At-Arms Office across from the Armory.
Cole: Over here we have the Master-At-Arms office, which is just off the exosuit lockers. Across from that is the Armory and Evidence lockup.
Munro: Response
Turning down the hall they passed through two sets of heavily secure doors. She kept her pace casual, coming to a stop by a station manned by Ensign Braga. Who’s station was flanked by a set of doors behind him while in front of him was a short hall with three cells on either side.
Cole: ::to Braga:: Giving Commander Munro a tour.
Braga nodded towards both of them. Natasha noticed the fellow Ensign was not one to mince words and was good at his job.
Cole: Over here we have the Brig, ::gesturing to the empty cells:: and behind Ensign Braga are the entrances towards the interrogation rooms.
Munro: Response
