((Security Center, Deck 08, USS Artemis))

Coming back to the Artemis almost felt like a homecoming for Savel. He'd served on it for over a year before being briefly called away, and things were starting to return to a sense of normalcy since he'd been back. He was even reassigned the same quarters that he had before he left. There was only one thing that was going to help Savel truly return to form.

Getting back to work.

The Security Center looked, thankfully, better than how he'd left it. The last he saw it was during the aftermath of the assimilated crew's assault on the place. Now, everything has been fixed up and put back in its proper place.

Despite Deck 08 being all fixed up, he couldn't help but wonder how the personnel were dealing with what had happened. There were a few faces walking around that he had seen turn Borg. In a way, it was uneasy having them around. The security officer couldn't help but wonder how much of a threat they could pose in the future. They'd nearly taken the ship once already, was there a chance something similar could happen later?

He tried not to dwell on those thoughts, and instead looked to focus himself back on his work. The Vulcan approached a console to see what correspondence and tasks had been sent to him. A couple of welcome back messages and a few administrative memos that he'd need to look over soon, but nothing too pressing. What caught his eye instead was the request from Lt. Sadar for Phaser Training. That perked up one of those signature brows before he acknowledged the request on the console. It would be a good way to get back in the swing of things and catch up on what he'd missed while he was away, so he figured he'd get started now.

Stepping away from the console, he'd reach a hand up to tap the badge affixed to his chest.

Savel: =/\= Savel to Lieutenant Sadar.  =/\=

Sadar:  =/\= Response  =/\=

While waiting on the response he'd start to head to the training holosuites in the Security Center.

Savel =/\= I saw your request for phaser training. If you are currently free, I am available now to assist.  =/\=

Sadar:  =/\= Response  =/\=

Savel =/\= Very well, I shall wait for you at Training Holosuite 1 in the Security Center.  =/\=

Sadar  =/\= Response?  =/\=

With the Mizarian doctor on the way, he approached the console on the wall next to the holosuite's entrance. He wondered the type of program he should start to load for them to use, and considered who was coming to join him. Not only was she a doctor, but she'd also seemed rather averse to being a participant in combat. He'd seen that first hand during their adventurous trip through the Bajoran wormhole, and aboard a Borg Cube. It caused him to think about why she'd asked for this training in the first place. As far as he knew, she was due for an official recertification on the weapon.

While he was lost thinking about that, the doctor showed up, and he realized that he hadn't actually loaded up any particular program yet. So he turned to face her instead.

Savel: Lieutenant, it is good to see you. I also thank you for arriving promptly for your training. ::glancing back to the console briefly:: I must ask, though, what type of training are you looking to receive today? I was unsure of what scenario or program would be most appropriate to load for us.

Sadar: Response

There wasn't much of a reaction from the Vulcan when she gave her answer. Nothing more than a brief rise in one of his brows before he turned to face the console once more.

Savel: Very well, give me one moment. I believe I know of a program that is fitting for that particular goal.

Sadar: Response
