((Corridor Outside Holodeck 3- Deck 03 - USS Artemis))
Talos stepped out of the holodeck, sweat still glistening on his skin from an intense workout. He wiped his face with a towel and noticed Lieutenant Junior Grade Savel approaching from the opposite direction.
Dakora: Good morning, Lieutenant. ::smiling:: Or should I say 'good afternoon'? Time flies when you're having fun... or in my case, getting your ass kicked by a holographic opponent in Silveira’s boxing program.
Savel: Response
Dakora: I think he has it set up to tell you an old Portuguese saying every time you get punched in the face.... ::He laughed:: Anyway, Mister Savel, how was your trip? Have you had a chance to settle back in yet?
He fell in stride beside the Vulcan Security Officer in the direction he was already going.
Savel: Response
Dakora: That’s good. Glad to hear it. ::Beat.:: Listen, I have a favor to ask you, if that’s alright?
These sorts of questions always felt awkward to Talos, since there was a power dynamic at play here with him being the First Officer and all. But if Savel rejected the favor, he didn’t plan on holding it against him.
Savel: Response
Dakora: I've been meaning to get my phaser recertification done, but between duties and... well, life, it keeps getting put off. I was wondering if you might have some time in the near future to oversee the drill for me?
Savel: Response
