So, any evaluation?
Savel:
Indeed. Many parameters have been evaluated, both by the computer and
myself.
Vulcan
was filling his opinions and evaluations into PADD, as he commented
on Jaseb's performance.
Savel: You
have performed in an acceptable manner, Ensign Chevalier. None of the
hostages were killed, and all hostiles were engaged properly. Your
use of the phaser weapon was sufficient.
Chevalier: Thank
you, ensign, I will definitely take a lesson from your words and work
on everything you just pointed out to me.
Jaseb
knew he would succeed. Not-sarcasm-but statement wasn't
really necessary, but on the other hand, he wanted to know more. He took
this requalification as much seriously as he enjoyed more good
tactical time counted under his belt.
Savel: There
are many variables that could be improved. A detailed analysis can be
provided once I have compiled all of the appropriate data if you wish
to review it. I will send in a preliminary report stating that you
have satisfied the requirements for phaser requalification.
Chevalier:
Understood,
sir. I would welcome to be in the loop when you publish your final
analysis, as I appreciate reading your preliminary record as you finish it.
With
that, Savel send the results of
Jaseb successfully completing the training into
record.
Savel: I
do have one additional request of you, Ensign. You will be forwarded
a questionnaire from the Training Standards Office of Starfleet
Academy that will ask you to review the contents of the course you
have performed and to rate your personal satisfaction with the
facilitator. Your responses will not be shared with anyone, and
participation is optional even though I am required to notify you of
it.
Chevalier: Don't
worry, ensign.
I will fulfill this satisfaction questionnaire as soon as I return
to my quarters. I have only positive impressions about your
performance as a trainer.
Savel:
Very well, Ensign. I have no further requirements of you. Should you
wish to remain here, the holodeck will continue this program until
the end of this hour. If you feel the need for additional training,
please submit a formal request to the security department and
arrangements shall be made.
Chevalier: Not
needed, ensign. As much as I would love to stay, there is another work
awaiting for me, which cannot be postponed for anything.
Following
Savel, Jaseb left the training holodeck, leaving him and the security center
altogether behind. His shift was closing and work, work never ends...
