Cmdr. Genkos Adea - Catching Up With The Captains

Genkos bowed his head and shoulders, waving a waiter over and making their order. He clapped his hands together and looked between the two of them.

Adea: Gods, it is really nice to see the three of us in the same place again - just like old times.

Addison offered a half-smile and slightly raised eyebrow as she glanced at Genkos.

MacKenzie: Old times? Seems like just yesterday..

Kalianna smiled, and Genkos joined her.

Nicholotti: It does. We certainly blazed some trails through these stars.

MacKenzie: ::shaking her head:: That’s an understatement. Our luck should have run out long ago…

Genkos rolled his eyes as he sort-of laughed and sort-of cried. 

Adea: Isn’t that the truth! 

Nicholotti: I'm just glad we're all still here, you know?

Genkos took her hand and squeezed it - he was very much glad that they were all still here, and with Kalianna it had been touch and go for a while there.

MacKenzie: ::smirking:: I think you have more lives than a cat.

The drinks arrived, and Addison gestured for them to move toward a quiet corner of the lounge. When they reached their spot, Addison sunk into one of the soft chairs while Kalianna and Genkos sat next to one another on a plush couch. Genkos took a deep sip before wrapping an arm around his beloved’s shoulders. 

Nicholotti: What have I missed?

Addison raised an eyebrow, before exhaling deeply. It was probably easier to describe the things that hadn’t happened, to be honest…

MacKenzie: Oh, relief efforts on the Da’al homeworld after a meteor strike, another run in with CloQ… And an encounter with alternate versions of ourselves from another universe.

Genkos pursed his lips sternly at the remembrance of their “evil” doppelgangers.

Adea: Hmm… yes, they’ve met.

Nicholotti: Response

Addison took another sip of her wine before she tipped her glass at Genkos.

MacKenzie: Speaking of, they ever catch that doppelganger of yours?

Genkos gave Kalianna’s shoulder a little squeeze. She was the one of the last people to see him, and it had not been a pleasant experience. Not quite as unpleasant as being locked in a cupboard for a few days, but not a million miles away either.

Adea: Not yet - he went to ground after his visit to Kalianna… ::he sighed:: There’s been no sign of him, so he’s either hiding somewhere outside the Federation, or I am having an amazing career on Starbase 80 without my knowledge.

Nicholotti: Response

Addison rolled her eyes and shook her head.

MacKenzie: Having two of you running around the galaxy is tricky business. At least my murderous double went back to their universe.

Genkos ran his tongue over his top teeth, shaking his head back in response.

Adea: Only because you’re more devious in this universe, whereas I’m more devious in that one.

He smirked at her, a light twinkle in his eye.

MacKenzie/Nicholotti: Response

Adea: What about with you, Kalianna, what’s new with you?

MacKenzie/Nicholotti: Response
