Lieutenant Hallia Yellir - Sudden Meetings

((Chief Engineer’s Office, Deck 15, USS Artemis-A))

Encounters with CloQ often left a lot to be done around the ship. Even the slightest changes left Hallia hypervigilant— it had left a sour taste in her mouth at the idea of fun little surprises hiding around the Artemis. She had been running diagnostics for the past three days, and working herself overtime to ensure their little coolant leak had been properly repaired. 

As usual, she was busy, and as usual, another stack of PADDs had somehow migrated all around her desk. Though, Hallia still navigated as if she knew where everything was, even PADDs that had no longer been needed had their place. 

Something caught her attention just as she had set down yet another device— finally filling out her report from the latest galavant with a Q. She ignored it.

Another beep chirped at her, but once again she ignored it, both times not even bothering to shut off the noise. With a third angry chirp that flew her way, the Yelikan’s eyes pried themselves from her PADD, as she took note of the reminder she had set. The newest member of her staff had yet to be properly greeted. Especially now that they were thankfully not being chased down by angry Jem’hadar.

Hallia paused her work for a moment, suddenly with the realization that she needed to clean up her desk. She knew everything would have to find its place yet again, but the Yelikan began stacking her PADDs in smaller piles, neatly hiding them away in the drawers of her desk. She left out one, if not as a means to look busy— she pulled up Salkath’s record. 

Hallia very gingerly tapped her commbadge, suddenly mentally prepared for a meeting. 

Yellir: =/\= Commander Salkath— at your earliest I request your presence in my office. =/\= 

Salkath: =/\= Response? =/\=

Yellir: =/\= Very good! I shall see you soon Commander. =/\=
