((USS Artemis, deck 3, turbolift))

S. Richards: Well, ::grabbing Sil’s arm:: Tonight, is in memory of the Resolution. ::Pausing for a moment:: That’s a ship right? Not some weird Starfleet thing? I don’t want it to be in memory of something weird.

Silveira: Yes… It’s a ship…

Lyara: I’m sure it was a fine ship.

Laughing, Sam looked at Lyara to make sure she hadn’t scared the Bajoran away yet.

S. Richards: ::To Lyara:: I promise I am not always this strange… Who am I kidding? This is the baseline for me. I exist on this level of strange.

Lyara: I understand, I think it’s why you and I are going to be great friends.

Silveira: Well, I for one embrace that. I think that’s why we got along so well.

Sam smiled at the two of them. Feeling a tinge of sadness knowing she was going to have to say goodbye to them when she went back to Amity. She shook off the thoughts and focused back on the fun ahead of them.

The three reached their destination, and stepped out of the turbolift.

S. Richards: ::Turning to Sil and Lyara:: Where to first?

Sil grinned and stepped forward.

Silveira: First the Promenade, then we try a place I heard of but never visited.

Lyara: You’ve got my attention. I haven’t heard of or visited half the places you know.

Silveira: Trust me, I think we will have some fun there…

((Timeskip))

((DS224, Third Promenade))

Sam gleefully went along with Sil and Lyara as they made their way through the Third Promenade. Not many people were paying much attention to the toga, but Sam was having fun regardless.

Sil led them to a very plain looking location, causing Sam to raise a confused eyebrow.

Silveira: This is supposed to be a club…

Sam had spent some time in a few clubs in Montana, but it was easy for her to assume that a space station club was much different.

Lyara: It’s an underground one. It’s trying to act all cool and “hidden”

S. Richards: Well ::shrugging:: let’s check it out.

With another shrug Sil knocked on the door. They stood in silence for a moment before a Nausicaan in a tuxedo emerged from behind the door, who gestured for them to go inside.

They went through the first door into a small hallway leading to the second door, once that one opened there was loud music and flashing lights.

Silveira: Damn… I didn’t think it was something like this…

Lyara: This is definitely more my speed.

S. Richards: ::To Lyara:: I see some dancing in our future.

The trio moved forward into the club, the lights and sounds grew brighter and louder. They watched as two Andorians walked by them. The male in a fishnet shirt and very short shorts eyed Sil and licked their lips. The female gave Lyara a look, to which the Bajoran reciprocated with a smile.

Sil yelled over the music to Sam and Lyara.

Silveira: LET’S NOT GET INTO TROUBLE…

Lyara: IF YOU GET ME A DRINK I’LL CONSIDER IT!

Drinks. Sam’s eyes darted around for a moment, wondering how to approach the situation. Did she tell them she just didn’t drink? She couldn’t reveal she was pregnant, not without giving Talos the chance to tell his colleagues first. She started feeling anxious and unsure about what she was going to do.

They made their way over to the bar, seeing more Andorians in revealing outfits. A smile crept across her face despite the anxiousness.

Lyara: I think it’s Andorian Pride Night! Look at all the people of various genders checking us out.

The Bajoran gestured around them, based on the way they were dressed and the amount of them, it was safe to conclude Lyara was right.

S. Richards: I love this for them! Look how happy they are.

Silveira: Response

Lyara: I’ll need some confidence before I do anything ::Pointing at Sam:: I’ll have whatever you’re having.

oO F#!&... Oo

Usually Sam would just order a beer and call it a night, but she couldn’t. In her attempt to respond she stammered on her words.

S. Richards: Uh… W-What. I mean- H-How, would you? ::shaking her head:: What do you normally drink?

Lyara: If you have a hard time deciding I usually go for a fruity drink.

Silveira: Response

Sam tried her hardest not to look uncomfortable or suspicious but was pretty sure she was failing as she turned to the bartender and hoped for the best.

S. Richards: Can I get your best fruity cocktail here for my friends ::gesturing to Sil and Lyara:: Y’know, with a little umbrella or somethin’? And uh… Just-Just a water for me.

The bartender gave her a confused look and nodded before getting to work on the order.

Silveira/Lyara: Response

S. Richards: ::Trying to speak unsuspiciously:: Oh, I uh, I’m just not feeling like drinking tonight.

She smiled and hoped they wouldn’t press the issue any further.

Silveira/Lyara: Response
