(( Auditorium - Operations Center, Deck 5, USS Artemis-A ))

They were excited. They were buzzing. They were pumped.

If enthusiasm were a liquid, it would be streaming down the walls of the Auditorium, and JG Bergmen stirred all it up.

Bergmen: Ok, so… Are you ready to go? Full of information, pumped to see all that Ferenginar can offer?

Jara was the first to respond. Of course they were.

Jaran: I think I'm ready to go. The Sacred Marketplace awaits! Maybe I'll see one or two of you there.

Tho'Bi swiftly joined his Bajoran colleague, ready to rabbit.

Tho'Bi: ::stands up:: ::to Bergman:: Yeah… thanks Lieutenant ::bows::

His excitement drew one last, scrutinizing glance from Lieutenant JG Cole—the kind of look that Ollie imagined every Security Officer would cast upon a repeat offender just before they were ushered into a detention, before she glanced back to Bergmen.

Cole: Don’t get arrested, ripped off or addicted to streaming shows. Got it. ::offering a smile::

And Imril… Imril simply tucked his PADD into his jacket and lingered behind the others, offering neither a glance nor a word to his instructor. But for their colleagues, they had one last piece of advice before they set off on another service assignment.

Imril: And, for those of us who won’t be spending all day in our suites, it might not hurt to swap out the standard uniform boots for some regulation waders.

Ollie Kimmi Bergmen found himself alone in the Auditorium, the echo of his breathing his only companion. He didn't waste a moment either and started packing, because his time was running out too. He should have been somewhere else by now. They were waiting for him, but still... what kind of OPS Officer would he be if he didn't stick to his commitments?

As he stood at the door, he took one last glance at the empty Auditorium before turning away, letting the door slide shut behind him with a gentle hiss. One by one, the lights began to dim, the systems transitioned into sleep mode, and the Auditorium sank into a hushed stillness, waiting for the next time some lesson should begin…

END for Ollie Bergmen
