((USS Artemis, deck 3, turbolift))

The trio of troublemakers entered the turbolift after their little beard chat. Vitor leaned against the turbolift door, and looked as if he was thinking about something.

Silveira: Damn… It’s been three years…

S. Richards: Three years?

Lyara: You ok Sil?

Sil shook his head and raised his hand apologetically as the tone in the turbolift shifted away from the high energy fun. The smile on his face faded as he spoke.

Silveira: Sorry… I just did the math. I cut my beard three years ago. When the Resolution was destroyed. There's actually a memorial to it on the station… But let's change the topic.

Today is a good day for fun.

Alroyo gave Sil a nod in respect to his request and whispered a short prayer to those who were lost.

S. Richards: Well, ::grabbing Sil’s arm:: Tonight, is in memory of the Resolution. ::Pausing for a moment:: That’s a ship right? Not some weird Starfleet thing? I don’t want it to be in memory of something weird.

Lyara stopped her small prayer and looked at Sam with a look of shock on her face. She was well meaning but probably not what the survivor of a destroyed ship would want to hear.

Silveira: Yes… It's a ship…

Lyara: I’m sure it was a fine ship.

Sam laughed, most likely out of the awkwardness of the moment and looked to Alroyo.

S. Richards: ::To Lyara:: I promise I am not always this strange… Who am I kidding? This is the baseline for me. I exist on this level of strange.

Alroyo couldn’t help but crack a smile at her honesty. She admired the unfiltered nature of Sam. It’d be straight up hypocritical of Lyara to judge her for the lack of filter, as she too lost it long ago.

Lyara: I understand, I think it’s why you and I are going to be great friends.

Silveira: Well, I for one embrace that. I think that’s why we got along so well.

The turbolift opened to the deck where they could cross the umbilical.

S. Richards: ::Turning to Sil and Lyara:: Where to first?

Silveira grinned and took a step forward.

Silveira: First the Promenade, then we try a place I heard of but never visited.

Lyara: You’ve got my attention. I haven’t heard of or visited half the places you know.

Silveira gave them a wink then started to lead them out of the turbolift.

Silveira: Trust me, I think we will have some fun there…

((Timeskip))

((DS224, Third Promenade))

Their parade of their Emperor through the promenade was not filled with much fanfare. A place like DS224 no doubt had tons of people going in and out of it daily, so the sight of a human in a toga was practically just another tourist on the promenade. They probably thought he was someone visiting from Pollux IV or some other planet that had an aesthetic similar to an Old Earth civilization.

Eventually they made their way to the location Sil had been wanting to show them. The door of the establishment looked very unassuming and like any other shop on the promenade. Vitor shrugged to Lyara and Sam.

Silveira: This is supposed to be a club…

She looked back to the door and realized it was most likely one of those underground clubs that liked to keep a low key appearance outside then go full out once in. There had been tons of those in San Francisco and she even ended up going to a few. But she preferred one that was straight forward and didn’t try to hide, like the discotheque she would frequent.

Lyara: It’s an underground one. It’s trying to act all cool and “hidden”

S. Richards: Response

He shrugged again then knocked on the door of the club. There was an awkward silence until a tuxedoed Nausicaan stepped out from behind the door. She felt underdressed as she had just gotten off duty when they found her and she had elected to wear something “fashionably Bajoran”. Great for dinners and dabo bars but not for black tie establishments. The bouncer gave them a look then opened the door, gesturing them to come in.

Alroyo followed Sam and Vitor into a small hall with another door on the end. When the bouncer closed the door they entered the second door opened automatically and the room filled with the sounds of electronic music.

Silveira: Damn… I didn’t think it was something like this…

Alroyo smirked, if there was something she loved it was dancing.

Lyara: This is definitely more my speed.

S. Richards: Response

They entered as Lyara trailed behind Sil who was acting as their fearless leader as two Andorians passed by them who both took a liking to Vitor. The male who was in a fishnet shirt and short shorts eyed Sil and licked his lips but didn’t show much interest in Lyara. The female Andorian, who was in a very nice dress, smiled at Lyara and also gave her a look. Alroyo smiled back but if she was honest she primarily just wanted to know where she got the dress.

oO I think I saw that in an Andorian Catalogue Oo

Sil yelled over the music to the rest of the group.

Silveira: LET’S NOT GET INTO TROUBLE…

Lyara: IF GET ME A DRINK I’LL CONSIDER IT!

S. Richards: Response

They made their way over to the bar and along the way they ran into even more Andorians in various states of revealing clothes that seemed to mimic the actions of the two Andorians before. As they approached the bar she recognized the music as from a famous Andorian Ice-Techno artist that went by “Chills”. Logic would conclude that it was an Andorian themed night.

The group arrived at the bar and Alroyo leaned against it. She noticed an Andorian woman that gave her a playful wave. She waved back to her then turned to the others and raised her eyebrow in a playful manner.

Lyara: I think it's Andorian Pride Night! Look at all the people of various genders checking us out.

She motioned around to said people of various genders and glanced back to the Andorian woman who waved to her.

S. Richards/Silveira: Response

Alroyo nervously tapped her hands on the bar as she looked at the two.

Lyara: I’ll need some confidence before I do anything ::Pointing at Sam:: I’ll have whatever you’re having.

Including the new friend in the first round of drinks sounded like a fun way to get the group to warm up to enjoy the night. Lyara waved over the bartender quickly then glanced again at the Andorian. It had been awhile since she engaged in any  romantic behavior or otherwise so she was a little rusty.

S. Richards: Response

Lyara: If you have a hard time deciding I usually go for a fruity drink.
