Vitor was catching up with Genkos, telling him the latest news. Genkos swung his legs onto the sand and sat on the edge of his seat, looking at Vitor seriously for a moment.
Adea: But you will, you’ll both be, be worried about each other. This is it now - that knot in the pit of your stomach, that ball of tense fear - you’ll have that for the rest of your lives together. ::he grinned:: But it’s totally worth it, my dear friend.
Vitor raised himself to sit, facing Genkos.
Silveira: I know… We already worried about one another. At least I did. And I know this is just the honeymoon phase. We will be arguing, facing challenges, suffering. But as you said… It will be worth it. And I think we can navigate that, together.
Genkos beamed at his friend.
Adea: Well it’s very clear she makes you happy, and really, that’s all that matters. Just remember, you both serve in Starfleet - anything can happen.
Vitor opened his arms in that overly theatrical way.
Silveira: Honestly I will worry when we come to that. Besides, what could happen more than what we already faced? Facing Clo’Q again?
Adea: ::pursing his lips:: What is it humans say? Don’t tempt fate?
Vitor laughed.
Silveira: Oh please, that isn’t a jinx. Besides, being superstitious brings bad luck.
Genkos raised an eyebrow, slightly confused.
Adea: I’ll take your word for it.
Vitor winked and raised his finger pointing at him.
Silveira: Well you know how that goes, but I haven’t been that wrong recently.
Genkos grinned, and put a cheerful hand on the man’s shoulder.
Adea: I’m glad to see that you’re happy. What else could be better?
Vitor shrugged.
Silveira: Right now not much. ::He didn’t want to spoil the moment but he also thought it was a good time to ask.:: And how about you? How are you doing? I read the report on your encounter…
Adea: Response
Vitor arched an eyebrow. That was just like Genkos.
Silveira: You're usually checking up on me and I just thought to reciprocate a little.

Vitor shrugged and tipped his head.
Silveira: What can I say, I am just that kind of guy. You can ask Kali, I usually self proclaimed myself as the Moral Officer. And not on the dirty sense…
