The barman didn’t quite pick Genkos and Vitor up and throw them out of his bar, but it was a closely run thing. Soon the pair found themselves huddling in the dark, the rain and the cold. It was pretty grim, a typical British evening, or so Genkos had been led to believe.

Adea: Thish… thish was a mishtake.

Vitor shivered which caused Genkos to realise that he was also freezing - he hadn’t dressed for this.

Silveira: Damn British isles. No wonder they always go to my homeland for proper weather…

Adea: Oh?

Genkos waited for elaboration, but instead Vitor let out the most enormous sneeze the good doctor had ever heard. Shaking, Vitor raised his finger to the sky.

Silveira: I will be in the Sun tomorrow, just you wait. And you can’t stop us ::He turned to Genkos:: Right Genkos?

Genkos, his eyes still wide with amazement at the sheer volume of the nasal evacuation, blinked a few times as his brain caught up.

Adea: What was that?

Vitor opened his arms in the rain, now completely wet, and Genkos tried to huddle underneath a nearby awning.

Silveira: I am perfectly fine. I am balanced and can walk a straight line.

Vitor took a step or two forward, then fell flat on his face. Genkos rushed to his side, kneeling in a puddle.

Silveira: It looks like we really have to take the proverbial rain check. Can you help me?

Genkos nodded and helped to pull Vitor to his feet. One arm slipped underneath Vitor’s shoulder so that he could carry the man’s weight. The other hand tapped his combadge with a free finger.

Adea: =/\= Adea to Artemis =/\= ::his voice was no longer slurred as he achieved his goal:: =/\= Two, beam us straight to Silveira’s quarters =/\=

If Genkos was worried about this being how rumours started, he didn’t care. It was more important that he took care of his friend. He glanced down at Silveira.

Silveira: Response

As the beamup process began, Genkos shot the man a wink.

Adea: I had to get you to go to bed somehow, didn’t I?

Silveira: Response

"You know, I'm really easy to get along with most of the time, but I don't like bullies and I don't like threats, and I don't like you, Culluh. You can try and stop us from getting to the truth but I promise you that if you do I will respond with all the 'unique technologies' at my command." - Kathryn Janeway
