((Elysium Mezzanine, USS Artemis-A))

Genkos had been people-watching in the Mezzanine of the Elysium bar, when he had spotted a familiar face, inviting them over to join him. Once the ensign had settled himself down, Genkos waved down a waiter to serve a drink and then turned to Bergman.

Adea: So, how was your mission? Did you succeed in finding the Tritorian?

The Ensign shrugged while eating the food that had suddenly appeared and replied between bites. It was amazing the man didn’t seem to need to chew.

Bergmen: Our task was to retrieve cargo from the wreck, so locating the ship was not that much of a problem. And you, commander? Did you was down there? ((OOC: wasn’t sure what this sentence was meant to be, but have made my best guess!))

Ollie glanced up from his food and looked at Genkos, who nodded.

Adea: Indeed we found the source of the radiation, and it’s all taken care of now.

In fact it was all packed up in a shielded store room off one of the science labs so that Jovenan and her science boffins could try and identify it when they had the time. Genkos had already turned down a request from Ops for radiation medication, saying that the EV suits they had on board would have to suffice until they could replenish their stock.

Bergmen lowered his head and nodded in appreciation.

Bergmen: That must have been interesting. In our mission, some things...most of them, didn't go as planned. We got abducted and found all about that conspiracy from an Orion survivor who crash-landed on the planet a couple of hundred years ago... We also managed to prevent a civil war.

Bergmen paused and thoughtfully raised a soaked piece of pita bread in the air. Genkos wondered what the pita bread was soaked in, it looked… interesting. He also found the ensign’s throwaway remark about preventing a civil war interesting - why mention it almost as an aside?

Bergmen: Is it normal for missions on Artemis to go so crazy like that, Commander?

Genkos let out a little chuckle, although he wasn’t really amused. It was more a sign that Bergman was what he’d heard Jo Marshall describe as “a sweet summer child”.

Adea: My dear Oliver, that was really nothing compared to some of our missions.

Bergmen: Response

Adea: Have you ever heard about CloQ, the Q that seems to be obsessed with this crew?

Bergmen: Response

"You know, I'm really easy to get along with most of the time, but I don't like bullies and I don't like threats, and I don't like you, Culluh. You can try and stop us from getting to the truth but I promise you that if you do I will respond with all the 'unique technologies' at my command." - Kathryn Janeway
