to USS Artemis-A – StarBase 118 Star Trek PBEM RPG
(( Science Lab 3, Deck 9 - USS Artemis-A ))
These were troubled times. Although they might have thought that there was a possibility of the Boraxians getting up to them, ValhJeahn never considered that it would happen so quickly. The time was for diplomacy but he felt that his place was next to Luirétt.
He knew their Leader was able to carry on their mission, their quest for freedom. ValhJeahn couldn't think of no one better to champion their cause. That was why Luirétt was their leader.
But alas, they were staying behind and “helping” the Artemisians. At least now they knew their names, or some of them. After having received the information ValhJeahn felt confused by the way they wrote what happened, so he had more questions than answers when he stopped at the door to the laboratory.
Once it opened he stepped in and nodded to those present. Doctor Morgan was expecting him and was the first to greet him.
Morgan: Vahljeahn. Come in. I trust you had a chance to go over the information I shared?
They nodded and stepped forward, nodding at the other two strangers, bowing slightly as he introduced himself.
ValhJeahn: I am ValhJeahn, a pleasure to meet you. ::Turning to Doctor Morgan:: I did, but I am a little at a loss with what I read. Perhaps you can help me understand?
Morgan/Richards/Imril: Response
ValhJeahn smiled and took a seat, reaching up the PADD.
ValhJeahn: We use some crystals to help. But we were never able to fully understand their effects, and what was our abilities and what was not.
Morgan/Richards/Imril: Response
ValhJeahn had the same feeling as before and he tried to patiently explain, again, why they were so oblivious.
ValhJeahn: The Boraxians do not allow us to study these things. Most of the things we do are by instinct, occurring naturally. We were never give the chance to learn…
Until we left…
Morgan/Richards/Imril: Response
