((OOC:
If Colonel or Jovenan wants to elaborate on their trip around the
ship, be welcomed; and yes, I left the ending quite open
intentionally for interpretation – you can decide if J is there or
not in TBC))
((Jefferies tubes, deck 11))
J
was climbing through the ship's tubes as he was the one who did not fit into an idea to mirror his other. He was still shadowing the path Colonel
MacKenzie took with Mediator Jovenan took on their way to Hazardous
Materials Lab, as he was their card in the sleeve and the muscle if
things would go from bad to worse.
He
checked his HUD to clarify their position through his mirroring of
his other access to ship sensor systems. Their first part of the plan
was almost completed. No one did question the ship's captain
accompanied by her Assistant Chief Science Officer. They were close.
Just one turn, and by the end of the corridor, there were doors and
their final destination - Hazardous Materials Lab and prismagons
stored there.

J
knew what to do next. He diverted atmosphere control sensors for the
lab and
then loosened
the bio-filter cover and removed it to access the outer one. After
he removed
even that one, the way was clear. He jumped down to the anteroom of the
laboratory, containing all the PP suits, administrative computers and
mainly, the decontamination chamber which separated him from the
laboratory itself. There was no other way in... or for people inside,
no way out.

Air
was not breathable. Halogen-chlorine atmosphere was killing him
slowly and not even TX-05, which was pumped into his organism, could
fully prevent the destruction to his biology.

Tarra:
C'mon Josh, what are you doing here early, again? How many times do I need to tell You to have a life? Real life outside the lab?
J
was approaching a Starfleet scientist as she was chiding her colleague.
She turned to face his colleague as J was just a couple steps from her.
(NPC)
Tarra:
I told you to ask Anna out, how many times? She likes you, you fool,
and... WHAT THE...
Scientist
was facing J, visibly surprised by what she saw. She tapped her
chest, the place where she usually had her communicator. But there
was none. She realized it instantly and her gaze drifted to the alarm
button on the wall, barely two steps away. At that moment her head
hit a microscope in J's hand.
She fell on the ground, the visor of her suit helmet shattered. Her head was hurting badly, a black dots ran in front of her eyes. She could feel the blood running slowly down the side of her head. She couldn't breath, as chlorine was burning her lungs and halogen was pushing all oxygen from her system.
J
grabbed her and threw her on a nearby table, the test tubes and the
computer screen were swept to the ground. Their eyes met. She was
crying. J held up the microscope once again.

J
looked terrible. His skin was cracked. He was pale white in the same shade
as the door to the laboratory chamber. The halogen-dried blood flowing
from his ears, eyes, and wounds, mixed with glowing green substance,
covered his body, altogether
with bloodstains.
He
looked at the Colonel, and without words he held up the
hazard-protection briefcase with the UFP insignia.

Jovenan:
Response?
(J
possible response)
J
nodded and pulled himself up back to jefferies tubes. He returned to the outside cover, and installed a back filter. He opened the cover to access a
computer mainframe to keep in the loop sensors for the laboratory, and
restart the security for the filters.
Lights
outside blinked and turned red. Screen in the tube showed error.
J quickly put necessary commands as quickly as he was capable. Problem
was quickly solved, prints removed. Lights lit up again.

Ensign
T'Gol with C2C Alessandra were finishing their routine check up - and
left Engineering - when they noticed two Starfleet officers. One in
red and second in blue, turning the corner. They quickened their pace
to catch up.
(NPC)
T'Gol:
Starfleet Security! ::announced himself:: Stop
right here. You are trespassing!
Woman
in red and blue stopped and turned to face two security officers.
(NPC)
T'Gol:
Ah,
Captain MacKenzie, it's
you.
Col MacKenzie: Response

T'Gol:
::smiled:: Understood madam. But there is a problem...
Both
security officers reached for their phasers on the belt.

T'Gol:
...a real captain MacKenzie a moments ago called for security...on

Jovenan:
Response?
Jovenan
could see that. The doors to the lavatory were opening behind the
officers. The place where J should join their group...
