OOC: As per the mission thread, the virus that infected the Artemis is a virus that specifically targets data related to the Afalqi and wipes it from our system continuously - no systems are malfunctioning or disabled, we just can't do anything regarding the Afalqi until it's fixed.
The Artemis is fully operational otherwise

((USS Artemis-A, deck 1, Bridge))
Vitor was standing straight, facing the viewscreen. Hands resting on his waist, his posture deliberate. His mind was racing at all the problems they were facing and there, in front of the viewscreen, he stood, as if calling out fate.
He wasn’t paying any attention to what was on display. Vitor was there to be the Front Man, because like the
Forcados from the
Portuguese barbaric tradition of Bullfighting, he was ready to pick the bull by the horns.
And what Bull they had to face.
Vitor turned, spending a longer second looking at his console.
“His” console wasn't exactly correct, as he started to feel he was losing its possession. Last time he properly manned it was during Frontier Day. And he wasn’t going to take it today either.
Nope. He got the whole Bridge.
Vitor Stone Silveira was holding the center seat as Zie, Munro, and even Nan were busy elsewhere. Not even Tamio was there.
No wonder he felt like a Forcado. And the analogy wasn't that far off. The virus that was affecting their systems rendered the Artemis targeting useless against the Afalqi.
So they were facing that bull unarmed.
Any attempt to target, acquire or even hint on catching the Da’al prototype in their sights was a failure.
And then there was the Naskaik.
But that was a very different bull.
He carried on near the Captain’s seat, but remained standing. Of the senior crew only Imril and Bergman were with him. And Secretary Jetripar…
He didn’t pick anyone in particular before asking his question.
Silveira: Any progress?
Imril/Bergman/Jetripar: Response
He eyed Jetripar, Vitor wasn’t too fond of having the Secretary along, and particularly of babysitting him. But apparently the Secretary was of some help. And they couldn’t simply surrender him to the Nascaik.
Tempting as it sounded.
Silveira: If the Nascaik weren’t around I would say we start a hard reboot on the whole ship, but given our… Stand-off… I can’t order it. ::He turned to Imril:: Sorry, still I trust you will be able to get us rid of the Virus, Lieutenant Imril.
Imril/Bergman/Jetripar: Response
He smiled and nodded, turning slightly to the viewscreen.
Time to face the bulls.
Silveira: OK; let’s see if we can pull our heads together over this. ::he glanced at Jetripar:: And please Secretary, feel free to jump in…
Imril/Bergman/Jetripar: Response
