((Corridor - Deck 9, USS Artemis))
Sil had just smiled and opened his arms wide as they walked towards the turbolift. It was nice to get to spend some time with someone she met before her official transfer to the Artemis.
Silveira: At your service ma’am. Or in this case Momma. ::he arched an inquisitive eyebrow.:: How are you doing? It wasn’t an easy mission.
It felt weird being called “momma”, but she was warming up to the name the closer she got to having the babies.
Richards: I’m doing good, all things considered. The kiddos are okay and we all made it out relatively unscathed.
Silveira: That’s good to hear.
She had to pick up her pace just a bit to stay caught up with Sil.
Richards: How have you been since the mission?
Silveira: Better now that we got away from it… I…
He trailed off for a moment, seemingly lost in some thought.
Silveira: I have seen worse…
Again, she nodded, but didn’t want to spend their whole time together talking about how cruddy the mission was, or hear about the worse cruddy missions Sil had inevitably seen.
Richards: Please tell me you’ve at least gotten to have some fun since we got to 224?
She raised her eyebrow and chuckled as they were now in the turbolift.
Silveira: Deck 6. ::He tipped his head to Sam:: I managed to have some, although I haven’t been to the station properly. ::He tapped his nose with his finger:: I have a secret not secret place to show you if you’re up to see it.
Her eyes lit up with excitement.
Richards: Uhm, absolutely! What is it?
He shrugged and winked as the doors whooshed open and gestured for Sam to follow. She pouted a bit at his deflection, but knew he wasn’t going to spill the beans unless it was on his terms. She admired that about him.
((Elysium, Deck 6- USS Artemis))
Sil led the way for the two of them, he quickly scoped out a table and pointed to one that did look incredibly comfortable.
Silveira: That sounds like a good place. I have jus the perfect meal for us. A good robust lettuce, cucumber and bell pepper salad, with just a hint of onion and olive oil, served with sword fish fillets. ::He joined his index and thumb together and tapped his ear lobe, just like his grandparents did.:: I can almost taste it.
Richards: That does sound incredibly delicious. ::Tilting her head to the side:: Wait. Are you saying this is one of your recipes? ::Raising her eyebrow:: Suuure it is…
He raised his eyebrow at her
Silveira: Are you doubting my cooking skills? You better eat that up or I won’t show you the Arcade.
Richards: ::Holding her hands up in surrender:: I didn’t say that! All I am saying– ::cutting herself off:: Wait… Did you say arcade?
And just like that, the beans were spilled. Without him saying anything more until she was comfortable sitting down. Which included him scooting the table out to accommodate Sam’s belly.
Silveira: Oh, it’s the fun place I left on the holodeck. Imril was actually instrumental in helping me finish it and if it wasn’t for him it would still be a work in progress. And there’s something for everyone there. I am sure we can find you a cool arcade… ::He raised his finger before sitting:: Once you finish your meal. Fish and salad is very good for… ::Vitor pointed to Sam and her belly:: The three of you.
Richards: ::Faux pouting:: Fine. I will eat my food. If you don’t show me this cool arcade… I’ll… Well I will. ::furrowing her eyebrows:: I will do something!
She broke out in a fit of laughter. Not even she could take herself seriously sometimes.
Silveira: Response
Richards: Can I at least pick my own drink?
She looked at him with a grin. Something about Sil made her want to act a bit silly sometimes. This was easily one of those times.
Silveira: Response
Richards: Well, if your majesty ::gesturing to Sil:: will allow it. I will have strawberry lemonade.
He seemed to take her teasing in stride, but figured she should lay off just a little bit if she wanted to see the arcade.
