Vitor and Imril had stepped out of the holodeck, heading to the Elysium for a meal as they talked a little more.

Silveira: So, tell me about yourself Imril. Where do you come from and how did you end up here?

Imril: Well, thirds -- androgynes, like myself -- aren’t treated equally where I came from. I never got to play games like these where I grew up, and that’s not the half of what I missed out on. I got away from Bactrica as soon as I could. Spent a few years on Bajor, studying my way up to earning a spot at Starfleet Academy. How about you?

Vitor listened attentively to Imril’s words.
It was fortunate that in the Federation all were treated equally. He was aware not everything was perfect, but the old ideals of fraternity, equality and liberty, were worth fighting for.

Silveira: Well, I came for the adventure, and the “wild life” of the Academy, but I ended up staying for the ideals Starfleet stands for.

Leaving the holodeck behind they made their way to the nearest turbolift.

Imril: What gave you the idea to put together all of those games from so long ago? Are you an aficionado of that era of Earth history?

Vitor nodded effusively. Having inherited his paternal grandfather's love for History, he did find the, according to one of the ancient Earth calendars, 20th century fascinating.
It impacted heavily with the other two major areas he loved. Military and Portuguese History.

Silveira: Being the grandson of an Historian my love for it came naturally. And that time in age is particularly interesting.

After another turn they came by the opening doors of the turbolift. A Science blue crewman nodded at them as she stepped out. Vitor smiled and nodded back, if he recalled correctly she was an amphibious… Pacifican? He forced his mind, but that was the only name coming up, and he wasn’t sure that was the planet’s name or of its inhabitants.

Imril gestured for him to enter and Vitor stepped inside, nodding.

((USS Artemis, deck 2, turbolift))

Imril: Deck Five, Elysium.

Silveira: I am happy you're coming onboard in my pet project. I have this habit of trying to provide the crew with something they might enjoy. ::He shrugged and smiled.:: I unofficially consider myself the Moral officer. ::He raised his hand:: But remember this is an off duty work, and don’t feel obliged to spend overtime with it. After our last mission we all could use some rest. Was it your first mission?

Imril: Response

Vitor smiled and nodded. Their “visit” to Meirash didn’t end up being as bad as some of the recent missions.

Silveira: Well, it could have taken a turn for the worse. I still consider that, since they had been influenced by others before us, the Prime Directive didn’t truly apply. But that’s just me.

Imril: Response

The turbolift doors opened as they reached the Elysium deck. Vitor again gestured for Imril to step out first.

Silveira: Really? And what were your impressions? And please speak freely, and feel free to not answer as well. I tend to be a blabber mouth and, as that portuguese expression goes, speak through my elbows. ::He shrugged.:: It means I speak a lot, not sure you have noticed it.

Imril: Response
