((OOC: I accidentally brought this full circle with a reference to the arcade, so may be a good place to end this one, but I didn’t end-tag it as such just in case))

Silveira: Computer, Silveira’s Bitoque Recipe without rice. Rare if you please. And water.
Vitor was clearly satisfied with his selection. And why not, if it had his name on it?
Silveira: I just now realize I am even more hungrier than I thought.
Imril: It happens when I get caught up in a project, too.
Vitor nodded to Imril’s tray along the way to a table.
Silveira: Interesting selection.
Imril: Random selection. Just saud the first two things that popped into my head. I’ll see how it goes. Smells nice, though.
They took their seats with wide smiles each.
Silveira: I added a few of my recipes to the replicators here. I cook, it's always different than just replicating the full dish. But the trick is in the programming. This tastes almost like the real thing.
Imril: ::looking at the eggy steak with interest:: I’ll have to give some of your recipes a try down the line. I’m of the opinion that a food replicator is another vehicle of interstellar exploration. Providing tasty little samples of other worlds, and the parts of those worlds.
As for this particular meal… Imril took a small, experimental bite of each fried item, without the sauce. The first was quite nice. The melon surprisingly bright and tangy. The tuber a little disappointing, honestly. Yet there was something about it that made it distinct from any potato-like bite that they’d ever had before. Something not quite able to be defined based on past culinary experiences. Something, well, alien. The crispy seaweed that coated it all was lovely. The drink they’d chose was a surprisingly good match for the whole. Overall earning an approving nod.
