Ensign Tho’Bi - The Quiet Figure in the Cargo Bay

((CARGO BAYS, LEVELS 279 - DEEP SPACE 224))

The Klingon Par’Tok freighter lumbered into the cavernous cargo bay. Clangs and thuds kerranged across the deck, as the great bulk slumped onto heavy metal skids.

The Space-Born Andorian smiled from his vantage point on the skinny walkway high above. In the mess of coolant venting and hauling of cargo crates, his antennae sensed a familiar set of vibrations. Down the heavily worn walkway, a tall, quiet figure stood alone.

Sadar: Response? 

The Andorian’s one-meter ninety-centimeter frame had made quick work of the intervening walkway; so much so, he had only just realised, he was unsure as to how to address the former Lieutenant. 

Tho’Bi: ::awkwardly:: Doctor. 

For reasons of which he was not entirely aware, the young Andorian then bowed.

Sadar: Response 

The Andorian lent against the railings of the walkway, his arms resting on the cold metal. He looked out, beyond the empty cargo bay, to the darkness and the Danube class shuttle skimming towards them. 

Tho'Bi: ::nodding at the approaching shuttle:: Are you waiting for the shuttle?  

Sadar: Response

Tho’Bi: I grew up in a place like this. ::smiles:: Me and a lot of other kids ::smile fades::.
