((ROOM 05-0799 – DECK 5, USS ARTEMIS-A))
Natasha set the communicator down and stood up to stretch. Glancing at Tho’Bi she had an idea of a peace offering.
Cole: Speaking of my Aunt, I’m going to replicate her Cherry Pastries, would you like one? I could probably have one tinted blue.
Tho’Bi: ::focus on Tricorder:: Fluids have solidified.
Natasha watched Tho’Bi as he focused on helping with Natasha’s project. It was nice to have a second pair of eyes on it.
Tho’Bi: ::looks up at Cole:: What is paste-ees?
She stood there silent for what likely was only a moment, but felt like it might have been years. How has he never had a pastry?
Cole: ::eyes opened wide:: You’ve never had pastries before. We’re fixing that right now.
Natasha walked over to the replicator and programmed two of her Aunt’s Cherry Pastries. She modified Tho’Bi’s to use Blueberries, to adjust for his dietary needs.
Tho’Bi: Okay. I will try a paste-ee.
Cole: ::to the replicator:: One Aunt Rea’s Cherry Pastries, and one substituting Blueberries for the Cherries. Top both with whipped cream.
Tho’Bi: The power cell has been cold for too long. We must turn the ice back to water.
Cole: ::carrying the plates:: Interesting, I thought it would have dried out.
Setting the plate down next to Tho’Bi along with a fork.
Tho’Bi: Response
Natasha sat down cross-legged and took a deep inhale of the delicious desert before her. This was by far her favorite treat.
Cole: ::taking a bite:: Go ahead, try it. ::with food in her mouth:: I made yours with Blueberries.
Tho’Bi: Response
