Genkos smiled reassuringly at Gnai - he liked the Galadoran, and he relished the challenge of non-bipedal physiology.

Adea: So… before we get started - any complaints, anything I should be aware of? And if you prefer to do this telepathically, I am happy for us to read each other.

Genkos opened his mind and could feel the relief wafting from his patient as it replied to him mentally.

Gnai: ~ Thank you sir. No complaints, not really. The mission was ::pause, then heavily emphasized:: stressful, but there was no physical harm. ~

Adea: ~ Ah, yes - what happened after I saw you last? ~

Genkos had read the reports, but it was sometimes better to get it straight from, as humans would say, the horse’s mouth.

Gnai: ~ After Romulus... I ::singular, denoting a part of a whole:: ended up imprisoned with the Captain, Commander Salkath, and Ensign Savel. ~

Genkos settled back in his chair, studying the Galadoran in its tank.

Adea: ~ How did that affect you? ~

Gnai: ~ I ::plural, a whole entity:: need space to rest properly, more than just this tank. Sleeping in it while in prison was not ideal. But since then, the quarters that have been provided for me ::singular, partial:: have been more than adequate. ~

Genkos nodded once, an acknowledgement of the statement.

Adea: ~ Good, I am pleased to know that. If there's anything else that can be done to make your quarters exceeding comfortable, do let me, or the Operations team, know.

Gnai: ~ Response ~

Genkos retrieved the tricorder from his top drawer and stood up. Caneless, standing up was an effort and he had to steady himself on the table. He withdrew the doohickey and began to scan. To a non-telepath, the silence might have been eerie.

Adea: ~ Apart from the affected sleeping pattern, was there anything else that has affected you physically? We can discuss psychology in a moment. ~

Gnai: ~ Response ~
